How do you maximize earnings on Google Adsense

Hi everyone! I've recently been accepted into the Google Adsense. However, it seems that people are not clicking in ads these days. My earnings are low. I only have one website. What other things can I do to increase my earnings? Thanks!

I am trying to get it from social network and writing community first before started to earn. How about you ?

Right now, I'm just posting on my blog. I have to admit my earnings are not that good as I expected them to be.
