It seems that because we are nearing Independence Day, 12th of June, attention is being given on the symbols of our nation. I would just like to point out that it is against the law to imprint something on our flag. Our flag here is shown with a Mylot imprint on it. So whoever uploaded this photo, do change the interest photo...please...

I don't know why Greeneagle24 imprint myLot to our flag 3 years ago. He/She uploaded the images when you and me are not yet member here. I think that members already inactive.
As a FILIPINO who respect the symbol of our nation, we should avoid to write any words in our flag.

Greeneagle24 is not an active member already so if ever he wants to delete the said image, he cannot do it. we can only recommend to the admin to remove it whoever wants to or do what the people above suggested by changing the default image you have in this interest.

I'm not sure if it's legal to imprint or edit national flags, if they are just photos or online ones. It's definitely illegal if we were to edit or modify the real national flag. I wonder what is that person thinking about when they ahd mylot imprinted on the flag. Is it a day to commerate mylot, or a day to mark the independence of Philippines? From the imprint, it seems like philippines is the country that created mylot. That's so wrong.

Yeah, I think it is inappropriate to do any kind of editing of the national flag. I'm not sure though if making a logo of it in an online community is covered by the law that was previously cited on the other responses of this discussion. The thing is, I don't think we have any law that indicates any connection to inappropriate pictures on cyberspace. It's just an opinion. Thanks for reading.

You are right about that. Our flag is a National symbol and should be respected.

Hiya eileen,
Well hope it gets fixed up then. I have not noticed any Flag anyway so I did not know there was anything wrong with it.
Happy Celebrations for you all on that Day which is tomorrow actually. Have a great time.xxx

Yes that is true indeed, its against the Law on Our Philippine Flag RA8491. Its is a desecration on our flag to imprint anything on the flag, only the three starts and the Sun. I agree we need to change that photo, though it make me kind of proud being a mylotter seeing My Lot on our Flag.

While it may be against the law in the Philippines, there is no such law in the U.S. where Mylot is based. I cannot discipline someone for doing something considered lawful. I can understand how some might be offended how ever, so I have a very simple solution. Anyone can change the default image they see for any interest section. So, if this image offends anyone, simply change the default interest section's image.

Hello my friend,
I also a Filipino but in my opinion no big deal about that as long as the position of the color and the emblem there are in the right position. If you can see some of the logo the Tshirt is our flag for what using for nationatili no for business.. So sorry but this is my idea and opinion... see you around

no offense meant pal but it would be wise to have a change of opinion, you know small things we know might save us some trouble later on, again I mean no offense , just a friendly advise especially because we are both Filipinos, have a nice day and yes as usual, see you around.

No problem to me my friend because it is only in the picture, if you can see lots of demonstrator in the street using our flag for valdalism, burnt and others. Last night I saw in the news that prohibited (allowed to print in the Tshirt but limited only). If they said prohibited should generalized... Anyway, did you know whose upload such flag with printed mylot on it?
