Some people wants to live in a crowded and noisy places but there are also some people who wants to live in a cool and quiet places. We experienced living in a crowded and noisy places. It's just like a squater area many children are playing around and drinkers who are very noisy, laughing, shouting and others are singing in videoke. Sometimes we call a police to stop them. For me, I prefered to live in the mountain just to have a peaceful and quiet place.

Hi celestial,
yes i want to live in noisy & crowded place because from the starting i have been living in crowded place now if i go to peaceful place i feel that something is lacking.
There are many advantages of living in these places as you always get the basic facilities available nearby your home you don't have to go to far to avail these facilities like medical, school, restaurants, transportation which i feel do lack in remote areas.

Yes you also have a point. Because if we live in the mountain or in a remote areas where medical and schools are far away, it's difficult if you have a student and also if one of your family get sick and there is no hospital there, that's also a disadvantage. but to those people who wants to live in a quite areas, but not too far from the city.

It's hard for people to believe now because I live somewhere very quiet and don't go out much but I am most at home in a big city with lots of bustle and things to do, noise all the time, 24/7. I loved the time I spent in New York City...going out to dinner at 11:00 pm and going to bed at 4 or 5 because there was just enough going on to keep me up and awake. Las Vegas was the same way. So much to do and see, nothing ever closes. I LOVE it!

It's hard. *nod* I spend a lot of time on the internet, dreaming of all the places I wish I could be. And I visit cities as often as I can. If I could afford it I think I'd like to spend a week, maybe two, every year, visiting a new city.

When I was young I wanted to live in the city with all the hustle and bustle and noise. Now that I'm an old fart I want peace and quiet. The noise drives me nuts now.

I used to live in the village where there are less population so I can say that I can't really handle to live in a crowded or noise places especially when neighbors doing karaoke or shouting just like the samples you've given.I think I will have difficulties to adjust since I grow up in a not so noisy place for 22 years till now.Me and my hubby have same taste. We love places that is not crowded. He is much more sensitive as he can't handle crowded places and immediately throw up.He get easily paranoid and irritate as well.He also live in a village just like me so we normally don't go into festival or something.

You know I'll tell you, my hubby is different. He likes to live in many people around. He feels boring if there's no people around. But he don't want loud voice when time for bed. He call a police when past 10pm if there are some people make any noises...

I think it's all depend on where you have lives since you are kid. if have been living in peacefulplace than you might like peaceful places more. Or if you have been living in noisy and crowded place you might like that type of places more. But usually people get adjusted with peaceful places well than noisy places. People who have been living in noisy places, they can live in peaceful place easily than vice a versa. I like place a mix of each peaceful with some noise , some crowd, close to everything like shops , markets. Peaceful like mountain is too much for me.

Hi celestial!
I prefer to live in a quiet place although some noise once in a while would be okay. I wouldn't like to live in a crowded and noisy place because that would be so uncomfortable. I wouldn't be able to concentrate on whatever I'm doing and that's mostly writing so I really prefer a quiet place. I wouldn't mind party noises once in a while, like once in a month, but living with noise everyday? I wouldn't be able to take it.

A few years ago, my husband and I were managers for a mobile home park where there were some units that we rented to Airmen from the nearby Air Force Base. We rented one unit to an Airman and his wife who were origionally from the inner city. They didn't stay long, as the wife said that our mobile home park was too quiet!

Hi there,
Yes most people like to live in the towns and cities. Not that thee is no valid reasons. The vital one is medical facility. If you live in a country side and if somebody gets too ill and needs immediate medical help most people living in the far flung places can not administer good and required treatments.
I passed most of my childhood days in a rural area and loved to be among the friends there. But still I love tao live in the rural or semi urban places where there is less noise, less pollutions, less bloodshed.
The tranquility of mind is important for all creativeness. I can not stand the honking of vehicle horn nor the shrill voice of the women in the neighborhood.
Like Alexander Pope I too like to vanish unnoticed and no formalities. This is something like "Ode on Solitude'.

That depends on how noisy and crowded that place going to be. For me, I would rather live in a place with minimum population, not too much people, but keep it not too quiet and not too noisy, so I don't have to be scared when I need help, or when I have to call the police to stop those loud music.

Hi Celestial, I like living in quiet and peaceful area too. I have never experienced living in a crowded area and wouldn't want to in future. I wonder how so many people live in the metro areas with so much crowd and noise around. Maybe they get used to living that way!

I lived in a city for around 25 years and really enjoyed it, but then I had a heart attack and was in hospital for a while. When I returned home, some very noisy neighbours moved in that made noises throughout most nights so we decided to sell up and move out into a country village. Much better here, absolute silence during the nights - much better for health and sleep! _Derek

I perfer quiet places but it seems like iam living in the kind of place you call squater area. I have never called police on anyone but they are called here almost everyday. Anyway i dont let them bother me. I just stay in my own place and mind my own business. My house is quiet.

Where I live, I have the best of both worlds. I live in a suburban area with a lot of stores and things to do. My house sits back from the road and it is private and quite, but a few minutes away there is alwayssomething going on.

It seems there is nobody like to live in a crowded and noisy place , If you have enough money , you also can buying or renting a house which is located in more quite and peaceful area. but I also do not think to living in the mountain is a good idea , due to this is too loney!! if you have meet some trouble and need to stay alone to review and thinking, this is accepted but should be a short time.

Hi,
Good question.
Normally i don't like to be alone. However, sometimes I need it. Crowded places bite me in those times. I, then, like to run away. Sometimes it feels terrible to think that so many people are around you. You just cannot escape from them. However, sometimes it feels good, for, I think, crowds carry a sense of plenty and companionship.
