My mother is a single mom and she's currently working as an Overseas Filipino Worker and I can still remember the day she left us when I was just 8 yrs old and that day for me is the saddest day of my life. It's very difficult to live without her supervision and without her everything change but one thing I'm sure that doesn't change it's my love for her and I really want to tell her how proud I am to be her daughter and I thank her for all the sacrifice and for her love.

I can relate with you. Being a nurse, I can see a lot of friends, relatives, work mates who have their mothers, fathers, or both work abroad. Yet, they grew up as wonderful persons. Although their parents were not their to see them grow up, they were still able to form strong bonds with their parents! And instead of hating their parents for leaving them at their very early age, they stand up and acknowledge how proud and happy they are having strong and responsible parents!

Hi remnant_89!
Thanks for the comment I can relate to what you've said luckily despite of everything I was able to manage it because that's the only thing I can give to my mother in exchange to all her sacrifices so I'm trying my very best to avoid giving her disappointments.
