Song Lyrics as Tattoos...

Anyone who has paid any attention to anything I've said knows I'm a big fan of the band Kill Hannah. I've joked a time or two that "Some people speak in sound bites, Mat Devine writes in tattoos." He has written so many lyrics that so many people have tattooed on their bodies (including me).
A few weeks ago, I was watching a friend read the liner notes of her CDs from another band, trying to pick out something to use for her tattoo... I didn't think that was the "right" way to do it. I always assumed that if something was meant to be permanently inked on your body, you'd just feel it. Then today, I find myself listening to one of my other favorite bands, trying to decide on which of their lyrics I want to use, because they are all so amazing.
What about you? If you were going to get song lyrics tattooed, would you go looking for the right one or expect that you'd know it when you heard it?

i think a song lyric that i would tattoo in my body would probably be
" son tantas noches en que yo me lo paso pensando en donde estas y si regresaras pero saves que yo aqui estoy para ti donde quiera que estes esta cancion es para ti"
dj flex - te amo tanto
translation
"i pass alot of nights wondering where you are and if you will ever come back but you know i will be here for you and where ever you are this song is for you"

I wouldn't get song lyrics tattooed just for the sake of getting song lyrics tattooed. I think it would be something that meant a great deal to me. I don't think it would be something I knew when I heard it, but rather a lyric that I had known for a while and then decided to get tattooed. The love for the lyrics should probably come before the idea of a tattoo. That's my opinion.
