Anybody who has played BULLETSTORM, plz help!!!!

Hey ps3 lovers, I recently came to play bulletstorm. Its a pretty good game and has a new concept of kicking and leashing opponent. It uses the whole environment to make unique combos. Till now its a great game. But I am stuck as I cannot get more points in the 4th chapter as the skull tribe people are too fast to be leashed. So we don't get any combos. I thought of sliding to them and then performing combos. But it proves fatal. I get killed easily. So any tips guyz......
