INDIA - WEST INDIES Tour is very boring & one sided,,,,,,,,,Whats your view???

Hi ramaswamy, I disagree with you here. At least yesterday's match was not boring. W.I. had been quiet competitive. India had to dig in deep to win yesterday. I would not have been awake till 2 a.m. if it had been that boring. Match did look boring and one sided when they were 7 for 96 but then after the match was quiet interesting. The way Rusel hammered those 92 runs of just 64 balls with 5 sixes and 8 fours highlighted the shortcomings of Indian attack and then W.I. bowlers exposed the myth of super Indian batting, it was the brilliance of Rohit Sharma and Harbhajan Singh that saw India clinch the series. I feel if W.I. board inducts Gayle it may be difficult for this Indian team to win against them.

surely the matches are really becoming one sided. The tournament is fully boring. Not even a single century happened even after 4 matches in this tour How will the cricket become interesting without centuries, that too from a batting team like India?? Yesterday Rohith could have hit a century if WI scored more runs.. but I definitely wish to see a good century knock at least in the next match. I think, partiv patel should carry on the innings and make a century, otherwise virath kholi or Rohith sharma should make a century, Matches are really boring without centuries. And i dont think this WI team is strong enough to beat the Indian side. I think we can skip the remaining odi and straight the way go to test and win that too.

It definitely is a boring series. Traditionally itself given the slow nature of the pitches in the West Indies and the usually half empty stands, the matches seem to be slow and stretched in the Windies. To add to it this is between India B team and a West Indies team that might struggle to challenge Bangladesh at this moment. The fact that India has won the ODI series 3-0 without Sachin, Sehwag, Gambhir, Dhoni, Zaheer, Sreesanth is a testimony to this. Cheers! Ram

Very true. The WI tour is like a tour to Kenya or Zimbabwe. Praveen Kumar & Harbhajan Singh with Rohit Sharma at the other end managed to score around 150 runs to take India to victory in the last match. Against which other regular cricket playing country can India dream of doing that. India would have indeed been better off playing Ireland or Holland. At least they have the fighting spirit.

Very very true the ongoing tour between India and West Indies is very one sided and also boring and it did not generate as much interest as IPL did.This Indian side is also playing so well and are playing like champions.

Hi ramaswami, Exactly. I feel it quite strange as to what the WI cricket board is keeping the key players off the ground. Is it so that they want to be defeated by India in such a manner that the Indian triumph over the West Indies becomes valueless? You find it boring and I am not watching at all. I feel something fishy in the whole proceedings.

I don't think the match between INDIA - WEST INDIES that is going on is one sided except Gayle all the players of west indies are in the squad and young faces of indian players have showing their tremendous performance. Yeah the weather and the pitch are dull one which makes the game boring

yeah friend its really getting bored ...i think west indies needs a win badly that would make atleast last match little more interesting. i think the world cup and then t20 ipl fun has already ruined the 50 over match and now in such matches when senior players from both sides arent playing makes it even more boring. lets hope some excitement happens in the series and i m afraid that even test series would be similar boring.hope so it doesnt. i m having my vacations and i dont want to make it boring.;)

Dear Ramaswamy, It would not be fair to say that this West Indies series is entirely boring.. Of course, it is not a high profile series and about six of India's main players are not playing, and the current West Indies team is nothing like before. I agree to all that. But then, it is a young Indian team that has won this series. And the last match was surely quite exciting...!!!! From six down for about 80 odd runs, to chase down the target is not a small feat by any means. We must give credit to the players...!! ! when they had their backs to the wall, they dug deep and came through...!!!! This series was more like a testing series for India's bench strength. We have to look at it this way. And the Indian future prospects came through...!!! Lets give them some credit for that...!!!! Share your views... Balu

yes, its mainly because india players had playes continously from world cup, ipl and now windies tour. so the people r getting bored now and the excitement is getting low.
