Why can't mylot save our discussion posting

That is what I encountered that has problem with posting a new discussion. I noticed if you inactive on mylot more than 5 or more minutes, probably it is different from browser to browser, but I mainly use Google Chrome to work on mylot, if I left it inactive for 5 or minutes, mylot will automatically log me out. So, if I left mylot more than 5 minutes, and I go back to work on new discussion, it will let me finished my discussion, then log me out. After I log back in, my discussion writing was all gone.
In the opposite case, if I made a comment on other's discussion, and after I click post comment button, mylot log me out, and when I log back in, my comments still there, and all I need to do just click the "post comment" button again. So, my question is, why won't mylot save my writing on other's people's comment, but not on my new discussion? Have you encountered the same?

I'm not sure why that is happening. I have never experienced it here before. I do not recall leaving it sit for some time either though so I am not sure if it would happen to me or not.

i think it depends on the type of browser you use, firefox tends to keep me on for more than an hour before logging me out, sometimes its due to the browser setting such as clearing the cache/cookies every certain amount of time.

Hi King,
No I have not encountered this and I use Firefox. I have been known to stop in the middle of posting and returned hours later to still be logged in.
Therefore, as I recommended to several others I have heard this from is to clear your cookies and cache. Maybe this for some odd reason is interfering.
I am not sure if this is the reason, but I do clean mine several times a day. I use the free CCleaner and or you can simply go to your tools - Options and clear them there.
I do know several others who use Chrome and never log out and I have not heard from them to be having this issue.
Maybe it has to do with internet speed, and just guessing because am not sure why some do and some do not have this issue.
I hope this helps.
