facebook showing online people as offline

hello friends..i am having a trouble..rather all of my friends are having these trouble that sometimes facebook shows offline people as online and online people as offline..it is so irritating..sometime on chat i am writing something and it is not being delivered to the person i am talking.
do u guys face the same problem with facebook?
have you found any way to avoid these??then please share here..

Facebook chat has always been dodgy. I gave up on using it a long time ago. I find it quite annoying tbh.

I'm receiving those errors as well in Facebook. Whenever I'm chatting with my friends, I will receive this message that they are no longer online when they are still online. I'm not sure why, probably if there is a system glitch or problem with the connection. Also, if I went offline, it will take some time before my name will be removed in the chat list. It means that my name is still showing online even though I'm not.

Hi!
I just experienced something like that a while ago. My friend and I were chatting and she keeps on getting offline until finally she really went offline. But it was okay for me because she still receives my messages that I sent when she becomes offline. My messages go straight to her inbox and she's able to reply.
I guess Facebook chat is not that reliable when it comes to connection but when it comes to messages, they still are received by the receiver even when the message is sent the moment they got cut off.
