Earn extra money by writing articles. You can look for websites which offer compensation for articles they can publish. There are also outsourcing sites which can allow you to meet outsources who can hire you for writing various kinds of articles. You can start by writing small projects and build up from there. You can also start a blog and earn revenue by posting ads. some online writing jobs are done full time while many can be done at your convenient time. If you're a student, you can earn extra spending money. For some tips and ideas on writing articles, you may visit my blog at www.jenays.blogspot.com.

Hi Jeninays,
Thanks for the idea!
I'm new to this so I wonder if it pays off to write articles for outsourcers? How much do they pay ?

Hello, Educo. Yes, with some exemptions, outsourcers do pay, although income is lower when you're just starting. They go from $1 to $10 dollars depending on the kind of articles, number of words, your skills and your site ratings. Doing your job well counts because once clients know you write well according to deadlines and instructions, they will keep coming back to you for increasing project types and of course, increased earnings. Hope this helps.
Just one word of caution: see to it that a client is really willing to pay. Do not submit more than 3 articles without getting paid. Don't go for clients who'd ask you for bulk articles right away. You can set clear agreements with clients regarding this and they usually understand. Once you both prove yourselves, you can have modified agreements later on. The key is try to establish a good working relationship with your client.

I work for a company that brings in the clients, collects the pay in advance and then pays us a certain amount for the length of article. I earn enough to make a living but, also write on my own for content sites where I make an additional $50.00 to $75.00 a month.

Admin will remove this post because you put your URL in it (self-promotion, as it's called). You have to just put it in your profile and mention it in passing... oh, and register it here so it shows up on the blogs list, of course!
One word of advice that you might like to include on your site (feel free to 'borrow' the idea - I've already written about it on my own blog):
If you're bidding on the Big Four freelance sites (oDesk, Elance, Guru and Freelancer), AVOID the jobs that say they're for students, graduates, newbies or WAHMs (work at home moms) - these are always, without fail, badly paid and the employer targets those individual because they don't realise they should be paid just as much as anyone else for the same job. It's sneaky, nasty and unfair.

I using four sites Triond and Helium. I usually earn some decent money, but it has take a little time to earn some extra money. It does pay off but it takesa lot of time and effort to earn money.
