Hello frnds hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I recently have been in a lot of meetings and was made to make some extreme crucial decisions and in a flash! Honestly some of mine desicions has backfired bigtime but i have been appreciated by my seniors for my presence of mind for some of my decisions. It makes me ask u all how good r u in making quick decisiona? Or r u a perrson who generallu takes some time when the subject is critical! Cheers, tutul

Arre tutul, kothai giyechhile? Decision making and me? Well let me think....hhmmmnnnnn, ya, I am not in your bottle. Congratulation man that your in a flash decision worked. As I know or have been counseling people decision making that too in very short period is very important. One wrong movement could bring tsunami on your head and could make one billionaire. In my school and college days I consulted few of my trusted friends if I were to make some important decision. And I marked that every time I am in similar circumstances I felt I should consult with them. It was not good for me. Slowly with my efforts and attending concentration camps and meditation I can make some decision that are not too risky. But recently I took a decision within an hour and the decision was positive, I mean had I taken negatively I would lose so many things and reputation as well. My final words to all is that quick decision taking needs a lot of mental strength and capacity to bear the otherwise negative result too.

Hey...Good to see u after such a long time.. Ki bolbo..meetings aar.. kaje khub busy chilam ! Well i appreciate your honestly that u have consulted most of the time with close friends while making an important decision. But let me tell u something in my case scenario there is like one to one meetings or a group of people asking me questions about various projects. I have to commit deadlines, the value of the project and the percentage of discount we can offer. For that I have to prepare well and then present it to my various clients and in split of a second depending on the situation. In this sort of job where u have come to negotiate something u are either in or u r simply out. So quick and agility has a lot of importance in my field of work. Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful week ahead ! Cheers, Tutul

Yes i am good at making good and quick decisions and a lot of people have praised me for that but for taking good and quick decisions we just need to see to it that we don't affect the interest of others and we should take decision with our complete presence of mind.

Hi, quick decisions, something which can go either way because you wont be able to think about the outcome of such decisions that you make. I have made a lot in the past two years. I have been running a business small unit by myself and often find myself in a position where I have to come to a conclusion or decide something pretty quick. For me, its like 60% and 40%. 60 success and 40 failure, but these are things we cannot avoid, so what i suggest is do not bother about the backfiring and keep doing what are doing well, because experience will teach you about how to make quick and correct decisions. Have a nice day..

Hi, I agree with u completely. We as a businessmen are supposed to be very agile to procure orders, negotiate etc and for that there is hardly any time to consult sometimes. Hmm.. 60-40 is a good ratio but I believe there r some high risk jobs and some r low risk jobs. The high risk projects decisions are where u either get the accolades or u get a tongue lashing. Its a part of the game and we have no option but to get better in this area. Cheers, Tutul

Having been in the Army, as a field medic we learned to think quickly and process quickly to save lives. Once out of the Army I was able to use these skills in every day work life even to home life. I have had several different positions through the years when working, and each required some fast thinking and analyzing of situations. I think work skills enable you to learn to adjust in situations and how to do them.

No I'm not good at that. I am too emotional sometime and my emotions get in the way always. I make sure I will consult first whoever is close to me then I'll do the final decision myself.

Hey, I perfectly understand u.. And let me tell u it happens to all of us. But sometimes life isnt fair enough to give us the time and the space to consult. Those are the moments in which u have to decide and commit are the ones which u remember all your life. We all make mistakes and thats life. So accept it and try to take brave decisions in life. Cheers, Tutul

I am not bad at it. I have made some crucial decisions of my life quickly. However sometimes it is difficult to take decisions in short time. Sometimes quick decisions are the best ones!

I am not good at taking good decision on a short time. Sometimes, I have to take quick decision where I mostly fail to take accurate decision. However, few times my prompt decision is beneficial when lucks favor me.

I can say that I make good decisions and the results 95% of the time have been in my favour... Even at times when I have had to make that split second decision it has turned out in my favour....but this has come only with practice and time.... never on the first go will we be perfect or always right... we tend to make mistakes and from those mistakes we learn....and also while make quick decisions dont just jump to a conclusion immediately but give urself that 2-3 seconds too think and then make the decision....it certainly helps.....

I've been really good at making quick decisions. I first found out about my "skill" lets just say, when I was younger, where i use to compete in timed chess games and really quick timed chess games. I was usually very successful in each of the moves I chose, I actually became city chess champion and provincial, but I never accepted to go to national/international tournaments. I also played point guard at a couple high schools i went to, where I was required to think at every play. Though, i prefer having some time to think about situations or problems etc, When I am forced to make a quick decision, both my decisions are relatively close to each other. But it is obvious if you are allowed to think about something for a longer time, you will be able to think about your first decision and analyze if its the best one. Good luck to you, Cheers.

good for u... in making quick decisions mine is just fine... sometimes its a bit challenging but what is important we make decisions that reflect our own convictions not those of someone else...^_^...

Whenever I make quick decisions they are always the worst choices. I'm better when I have time to think about the pro's and con's of every part of the situation. I think I'd make better quick decisions if I had a different personality that was more of an in the moment sort of one.

Yes, I am apt at taking quick decisions except in cases where result of a decision is irreversible. This provide me many benefits including faster results, more respect, and time to make corrections. This thing I learned during my career in Industrial Management.

I'm always bad at taking decisions. If any of my decision was ever good, it was purely by luck I'm sure. Cause most of the time I'm stuck in dilemma about what to decide and very mercifully i always get to decide about those that practically break my head. Maybe it's because of my libra scales doing tango most of the time
