How long the battery of your mobile works?
I am talking about the talk time of the battery of the mobile phone. I think still the technology has not got enough improved to store more energy to run the mobile for long hours. I feel that for a multimedia mobile handset, this is not possible to be live for 24 hours without charging the phone in the train. What are your views?

When we use cell phone as cell phone it may last for 24 hours. But youngsters they live on it or live with it. I do not know about USA. But in India youngsters when they start talking they talk for hours together without break -- You have schemes which offer free talk time to a set of numbers or numbers belonging to the same company like that.
For me it comes for two days also because I use cell phones only for talking --not for browsing, music etc. have a good day.

1anurag1,
I am using the latest iPhone4 and the battery life has been quite impressive going for 48 hours of standby time without charging. During those times, I've had about 30 phone calls, 3-4 hours of playing songs, 2-3 hours of games, photographing, chatting and surfing both 3G and WiFi.
Not sure what kind of phone you are using but I can assure you batteries of the latest models averagely lasts about 48 hours through a single charge. However, the span may be shorten when you use or open too many functions and/or apps at the same time. Functions like Bluetooth, GPS and apps like Pushmail are number one battery drainers. So, you would want to set them to manual instead of auto or standby mode to help your batteries last a little longer.

I am able to go between four and five days with my normal usage habits without having to charge my cellular phone. This is significantly better than the phones that I've had in the past, but I still think that there should be a way that the batteries on cellular phones should be able to last longer than they do. I do find that if I am using the GPS on my phone, it will drain the battery power very rapidly.

I don't actually use my phone that much. My phone's battery can last up to 3 days so basically I'm not really using it. It really depends on the usage and how old the battery is.

Before I was a text addict. My battery last only 12 hours in a day. But since I am already engaged in work. The text addict has decreased. The battery of mobile can last for almost 2 days. I can't afford to loose my present job. I have to stay focus. So my texting addiction has decreased from 90% to 30%

it depends on how you use your mobile phone. If i use my mobile it can keep for even 2 days are more, but when my husband witch phones my battery lost him for maybe 8 hours.
Because he use up most of the feature every min.
so the battery serve depends on,how you use the mobile devices. Some battery will serve long while some don't lost that long.
