I expressed my great joy that I reached 400 FB friends today in a new discussion. I also expressed my desire to have 1000 in next 2 months. Now Mr. Mylot found it commercial/promotional etc. and removed the discussion. there was no intention of these kind at all! I am new and perhaps i used wrong vocabulary and sentences. Will they do something like banning me or so? Please help!

We learn by our mistakes so if you don't repeat it you will still be here in years to come.
Take a good look at the Guidelines:
http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx
The problem is that you have said the same thing again this topic so this might go too.

Well as you posted this five days ago and the discussion is still here and so are you, I would say you have not been banned.
It is hard at times and mistakes will be made. I'm sure mylot understands this.
As others have said so long as you learn from your mistakes and take care not to repeat them I'm sure things will be fine for you x
Good luck x

Thnx.
Since then, I have learnt a lot.
And, yes I am not going to repeat those things. Our seniors are helpful. (And so the new people like you!) I have now so much new information as well as so much opportunity to express myself! Thanx mylot! (And thanx mylot for not banning me yet!)

If I remember the post correctly, you were:
1) 'Boasting' that you had 400 friends on Facebook (see 'celebrating a milestone')
2) Indicating that you wanted to achieve 1000 and (either directly or indirectly) asking people to help you by adding you as a friend. (which is 'promotional' in nature).
Either way, it wasn't really a 'discussion'. What, after all was there overtly to discuss?
Take it as a lesson and move on. Try to think how your topics can encourage people to respond with quality responses (and make sure that they almost force people to do so) and, most importantly as well, anticipate what sort of comments you will be able to make to the responses you receive. Will you be able, for example, to say more than just "Thanks for responding"?

You have pointed the errors. I have noted them down and shall be careful in the future. I also have gone through the rules and regulations thoroughly this time. From you I now also know what should I think before starting a discussion. I am grateful to you and to all who have responded to this discussion. I think this discussion can help some other new users too.
I will be careful from now on.

anupamArt no devil jus t you forgetting to read the information mylot admins asked you to do before you started making one discussion. because you did not read it you did not know goalstone discussions are against myhlot rules and so you lost your discussion you did it to yourself why not read the information. is there anyt reason not to know what you are dxoing here in mylot? will some dread disease overtake you should you decide to read the guidelines like mylot admins expected you to do? I do
not think anything horrible will happen to you and you might even know what to do here in mylot. go read the gu idleines

But it was a lesson for me. I don not want to leave this beautiful site at all. People are so much involved in the discussions. So much helpful! I feel somehow proud to interact with all of you guys!
