Did you experience troubles in withdrawing BDO ATM?

I am so worried today because " I have exceeded the maximum pin attempts" according to the BDO ATM machine, so I have to wait until tomorrow. This is the first time I experienced such embarrassment. I have less than $1 in my pocket. I need to buy dinner and secure money for my fare going back home. What should I do? I am confident awhile ago that I press the correct pin. To make it clearer. The BDO ATM usually asks for your card and then tells you to take it out. It asks your security pin number and asks your transaction. Moreover, it asks you to reconfirm your security pin code before it process. The only mistake I did was I forgot to reconfirm it and instead press "yes". So.. it suspended for 5 minutes. Then, I did it once more but it claimed that I have exceeded the maximum pin attempts. Unfortunately, I have to wait 24 hours. How can I be wrong? I just did it once and I tried it correctly the second time around.

Ohh that's bad experience my friend, may be there is a BDO outlet around you which canbe help in your situation now... Sometimes cashless society is not good it should be a balance... next time bring cash in your pocket... see you around

It took me three days to check my discussion because of the ATM problem I had. It was really a bad experience to remember. There were many ATM machines around the corner and I had never thought it might happen to me. sigh! Anyhow, I successfully find an answer.

i have not experienced anything like that before.. i usually think of my pin as i go to the atm machine so i won't have to stand there and probably lose my time allotment thinking of my pin, etc.

Oh sorry to hear about this bad experience. The last time i had problem with ATM is when my transaction receipt says that,i successfully withdrawn the 5 thousand pesos, but the machine never release that amount because it went offline before i was able to finished my transaction. I called the emergency hotline since it's wee hours and the bank is closed (my habit is withdrawing money always at wee hours- i don't like standing in line,so i prefer wee hours) Then i was advised to check again tomorrow but they noted already my account, info and everything. Good thing it was resolved,i tried to check my balance and the amount is still in tact. Machines do errors my friend...so,what you can do is wait until tomorrow to clear everything. smile and have a good day

I agree that machines do tend to make mistakes. It maybe due to a technical problem which could definitely resolved by people who work for the bank. I also suggest that you should really bring enough cash money when you go out because you'll never know emergency situations or cases could arise. Just be more careful next time as well in doing transactions using machines because one small mistake can be a horrible experience for you.
