What do you think of the storyline, Phil and Rainee on Eastenders?

I think the original storyline started off well, and they potrayed it well and how it can really be. But now its just plain silly we no everytme something goes wrong Phil usually and or will go off the rails we know this its completely unprdictable but this time the whole thing with Rainer is really silly and they are dragging it out. They ahvent even announced a big story for this plot or anything. The only one I feel sorry for is Shirley, poor cow has to put up with him! What do you all think, are Eastenders running out of stories for the old characters?

I am surprised you haven't received any responses, I love Eastenders, albeit it wasn't actually until this year that I started watching it. I was more of an Emmerdale fan, but my girlfriend at the time was always watching Eastenders when I went to see her so I kinda got into it, now I am addictive I love it, the episodes have moved on since you began this discussion. I like Shirley and I think she will come back, only I hope not straight into the arms of Phil again!
