I've been using Fiverr for almost a year now, and have made over $400, it's not the best money maker, but if you can think of a few unique gigs you can get some easy money. of the $400, about $200 was made in the past 6 weeks, so basically the more gigs you have and the better you tweak them the more money you can make.
One of the important things to remember, is not to create gigs that take you a lot of time to complete, because then you'll be working for less money, basically you get $4 for each completed gig, so try and make a gig not take you more than 5 minutes.
Have you guys had any luck with Fiverr?

I have never even heard of this website before you mentioned it here. I had to go check it out. It seems like a really odd website. I am not sure that this would be my kind of thing to do personally, but I could see how some other people might be interested in it. I suppose if you are willing to do things for a few bucks, and people are willing to pay it, then you could make money on this site. The only thing I do not understand is why anyone would be willing to pay people for these kinds of things.

I agree there are some weird things on there, some just for fun, but there are some useful things on there, specially for internet marketing people like myself.
You can get people to create backlinks, tweets, get you some facebook likes and more.

I suppose that you are right on that one. I should probably think about using them to promote some of my articles and such. I think that I would have to be a buyer on there though. I just don't think that I am prepared to sell myself out for $5 :P

Yeah I know what you mean, when I first started I had put a bunch of gigs, that took me 15-30 minutes to complete, but now I do quick ones so it's worth my time. ;)

Some time ago I signed up an account in Fiverr. I posted my gigs there but it seems nobody is interested in it. So I haven't earned something from it yet. This is great that you have a good earning there. I am curious what gigs you offer there.
I love China

Welcome to myLot, deucegroup,
$4 for 5 mn is good for an online job, congratulations. I am watching Fiverr since a year, but I never signed up. I have a project of quite unique gig for this site, but it needs some preparation and I don't know if it will find customers or not, so I am interested by this discussion.

Hi Topffer,
If you care to share your idea with me let me know, I can tell you if I think it will be good for Fiverr. Or you can search Fiverr and see if others offer similar things to see what works.
You can tell if a gig works by looking at the feedback for it, the more the better.

Fiverr is quite a unique site compared to other online money making site. It is sort of a business type model kind of site. Wherein people post what are they willing to do for five dollars. Saw some skills that were funny to things that were very useful. Looking at the site makes me want to join. However, I think it is very populated already with so many varied jobs. I have got to think of something unique for my gig to stand out. Thanks for sharing, good site.

You're right, you do need to be unique, or else it's hard to get gigs, I try and stay on top of the latest online trends to see what people want and make gigs accordingly. Good luck to you AkatsukIJSN

Hi Deucegroup, that is a nice strategy.
If you can finish something within 5 minutes, that means you are practically earning 80 cents per minute.
Just too bad that the gigs are not enough to replace your full time employment yet.
Else it sounds very nice to near 80 cents per minute or $48 per hour.
