Bucket/To Do Lists

Do you have a Bucket List or list of things you want to do before you "kick the bucket"? I suppose I do although I haven't written them anywhere. Have you gotten the chance to cross any of the items off of your list? Which ones? I have crossed off write a book, visit New York City, see a play on Broadway and, one I always thought was a long shot that would never really happen, be on a Broadway stage. Granted I just stood there and looked out over empty chairs but I have gotten the chance to be on stage on Broadway. So what have you done? What do you still want to do? What would you like to do again? (I want to go back to New York )

Hi ladybug, congratulations on getting so much done :) I recently discovered the Day Zero project, which is a site for helping with bucketlists. The idea is that you set 101 things you want to do, in the next 1001 days (2.75 years). Apparently, this is long enough to sort out things like travel plans/saving money etc, but having the deadline makes people think "I'll get that done" tomorrow/next week etc rather than "I have the rest of my life...I'll do it later". As I'm a student, some of the more long term things I want (like being able to move out, get married etc) aren't likely to happen in the next 1001 days. BUT, you can reset your start/end date whenever you like, so I'm just going to add more tasks later on. Eg for now I have "organize my savings accounts", "Get a summer job" and "Save a certain amount per goal completed". In a year, I might update those as completed and add "Have £5000 in savings". A year after that, maybe it'll finally be time to put "Start looking for a house"! If you're interested to see my list, it's here (http://dayzeroproject.com/user/drasnian). It really has been good fun, and I think it's worth a try, even if you don't set 101 goals

In my mind I have sort of a bucket list but have not written anything down. I should probably do this that way i can check on it more frequently and see how I am doing on acheiving those goals. There is a lot I cannot do currently due to finances but hopefully that will change in the year to come. I have eliminated a little of my debt and want to downsize my home so that will help as well. good luck with your list!

Yes I've had a written bucket list for years. I don't know where it is now but I remember some things on it like skydiving and seeing the seven wonders of the world. I've already done some of the things on the list like para sailing.

There are many I have done, and I refer here not possible. What would I do? There's a lot I want to do. As long as I still can do something, I want to keep doing what I wanted to do.

Wow good for you that you were able to cross out a lot of things in your list. I have a share of bucket list myself and I'm also happy to say that I have crossed a few on my list. I experienced joining a marathon and was able to travel the US alone, and I finally learned how to surf. Two of the things that I wanted to accomplish so badly is be able to travel to Europe with my family and be able to swim with the whale sharks. Hopefully with enough budget, I'll be able to do the whale sharks next year :). Good luck to your bucket list and enjoy accomplishing each one of them! :)

I havent really done anything on my list yet. I want to go to italy and travel overseas to several other places. I also want to go to new york. I want to sky dive, bungee jump, and do zip lining. There is so much stuff that this post would be really really long if I listed them all. Hopefully I will get a lot of them crossed off of my list soon. I actually do have them written down. :)
