Some newbies have no patience.

Yes, I'm learning that myself, actually, to have patience in earning money online. Can you believe that I actually make about $20/month after about a year and a half learning the ropes and trying out different programs? I'm certainly not complaining, that's for sure, because for me, that's a great big step in the right direction for me, and I'm actually proud of that amount. It's good, honest money, as well. So now I'm just biding my time, not overstressing myself like I was before, and trying out new ways to earn and keep earning. I do think one key is to get the referrals, though, which I'm not that good in, but I don't mind, as I know it's a working progress, you win a few and you lose a few. Congrats on your good earnings :-) You have every right to be proud of your own self for making decent money independently online.

Hello there marguicha! Hmmm, maybe some of us have forgotten the cliche "Patience is a Virtue" I guess my grandma is the only one now who's still using that saying.(lol) Kidding aside, I think the younger generation,"my generation?" has outgrown the value of patience... But we can't be blamed solely for that. I must say that various factors are also responsible for this. One very concrete example is the influence of the internet in our daily lives. The internet has taught us that we can get things instantly. We can easily get instant answers from it without spending long hours of research in the library. We can apply for jobs through emails without the need of visiting different companies and falling in line for the submission of resumes. Oh, we can spend long hours in the internet, chitchatting, playing online games and doing non-sense things and forget to help our parents at home... Aside from the internet, there are actually so many things around us that made us what we are now. But I must admit that I don't like what I am seeing now. Maybe I am a bit old-fashioned though I still like it whenever I achieve something through hard work. Anyway, my point is, there are still some of us who don't easily give up on things. Some of us remain patient and hard working.The mere promises of comforts and the "instantaneousness of things" maybe alluring but I'd still opt for this cliche "No pain, No gain"... I know there are alot of sites out there that do pay and pay promtly,but I seem to run into those sites that you reach payout and never get paid Lol just my luck.I think that you could make a great deal of money if you had someone to explain things to you so that you would understand your not going to get rich over night.I a glad to hear you are doing so well and would love to have you as a mentor to teach me,if you have time that is.I wish you well and have a great day.

I was looking at my earnings for the month so far and I have made about $40 if I don't count money I put out. I am pretty happy with it so far. It has been my best month in a while. While there are a lot of scam sites out there, there are also a lot of good ones like you say. Now to see if we can stick with the good ones! Have a great week!!!

hi, when i was new here,akk i thouhgt was this site was a scam but when i earned money here the doubts that i had gone and now i never think of it again that this mylot site is a scam,maybe those people who tell that this site is scam maybe still never earn here so that they accused this site as a scam.

You went to Aruba on online earnings alone? Did you get a lot of referrals? Did you invest anything? The only money I make is from article writing, and even if I work hard, I can really make only so much that way.

My thoughts on that is just let them learn on their own. Especially if they dont wanna hear your advice. Some people no matter how hard or how much you tell them they are still gonna do what they wanna do.

Well I do know that if people went into online earnings with realistic expectations they would be smarter about it. But then if there wasn't so much hype out there about bad sites, they wouldn't GET unrealistic expectations maybe.

Hi Marguicha Yeah the term Scam is thrown around way too freely. If someone does not strike it rich and or mis-interprets a site they will immediately call it a scam. I have seen it here many times already where many do not understand a site and while I am earning they will label the site a scam. Sadly though that many new users on the web will be misguided by what others say and or read form mis-guided articles. For instance there is a member here with hundreds and I mean hundreds of referrals. But sadly almost all of them have 0 to very little participation here on myLot. I have seen some of the articles and who can blame all these hundreds of referrals, as the article says we make 5 cents per posts. So they come here and post new discussions to their hearts content, to be completely disappointed the next day and not return. I have done well considering this is m first full year with any online activity, though I have not traveled with any of the earnings as you have been blessed with.

hii marguicha, i personally liked this discussion a lot. very nice discussion on the topic which is always a big concern for everyone. i have seen many people start working on some website but get frustrated and leave and then start talking crap about the particular website. but no one is really fool to believe such fake claims by someone apart from this i really agree to your point of view that one cant be rich on web immediately and will have to really patient and keep working to earn a descent amount on the web. mylot for me is definitely one of my favorite ones to earn money as it doesnt have any restriction on your work and earning. that fascinates me but i m still finding the right way to do smart work on mylot so that i would be able to earn handsome amount. regards. keep mylotting. :)

Wow, you've earned enough from online to travel? Wow. That's nice. =) I wish that's possible for me too, but I have an average of 0 referrals, so things go very slowly for me. =P But you are right, there are a number of legit sites out there, and it takes some patience. But there are a whole lot of scam sites too so it's understandable why people get discouraged especially if they happen to join sites that become scam first.

I really agree with what you said marguicha .Rom not build in one day,its build with the hard efforts from years to years until more than 100 years.If we want to success ,we need to patient

I think people just stereotype some kinds of sites. If a few don't work they immediately assume that all of them don't work. It's not good to prejudge things like that.

Just let the newbies do what they want to do. Let them explore mylot first so they will know from their experience that mylot is legitimate. Just endure any trash talking they post about mylot. To experience is to believe. Happy mylotting guys. :D
