First of all, good night MyLotters, so as the tittle says, "living the lyrics", what I mean by that... Sometimes when you're listening to a song, don't you remember a moment of your life, you're living the lyrics, you're putting yourself in them, so basically, thats what the tittle means.
One of the exemples, when you're in love, don't you remember the person you love or some moments you had with that person everytime you listen to a song that has some lyrics related to love? Exactly, don't even say no to this, because I'm totally sure you do, unless you're heartless(sorry for the expression!!).
Another, when you're listening to crazy rock songs, I don't mean hardcore, I mean rock songs with crazy lyrics, more specificly, girl's related, don't you imagine things? This exemple can be used with most of the songs from blink 182, its the one that comes to my head instantly when I talk about this, they're kinda gross hehe.
When you're listening to calm songs, specially the ones that have an accoustic guitar and vocals only in them, don't you imagine yourself playing and singing that song yourself? I confess sometimes this happens to me.
This one is quite interesting too, this one happens to me too pretty often, when you listen to hard rock or metal songs, when there are really heavy instrumental, and/or voice, don't you feel like "making some exercise" or kick/punch something/someone or just keep moving, you can't be standing at the same place without doing anything at all!
And the last one I remember of, when you listen to some guitar soloes, doesnt it make you remember parts of your life, or even you playing that guitar solo if you have an adiction for guitars? Once again, both of them happen to me...
So, pretty much thats it, please comment this tell me what you think of these and if any of them suits you, and if you got more please share with us... Thanks!!

I do this quite often. I listen to a song and I daydream to a far away land. In this far away land, I am the lead character. The music can be a love song, alternative, rock, pop, or even k-pop. I always imagine some sort of a music video where I am the lead and everyone else are just people involve in my very dramatic life. I know it is quite pathetic but that is what I usually do whenever I listen to music.;)

Yes I think songs help us daydream and remember good times as well as imagine and hope for future 'good times'
I do find it fascinating that one is almost 'transported' in their mind and emotions to another time in their life and 'relive' certain moments.
