I know we all the very busy nowadays! working two jobs, or even more! having no time for your family, just to make things right for everyone! well i would say i love to spend the weekends with my family mostly staying at home! discussing what we did the whole week! watching movies, eating great food! having fun all together!
What about you?!

Well to say that its not by just living with them means spending time with the family...We have to share almost everything and atleast we must have a lot of conversation that may be funny or of no reason but if we talk for atleast 1 hour with our family it will create a lot of understanding between us...

hi rock,
I usually cook for them and then we watched a movie
When I was a kid we always have a family day out of town or going to a mall
But since we are all grown up bonding time rarely happened
But still we try to have a bonding time
happy mylotting

Yup, family re-union is very important this days, specially because the fast paced life we lead today, and often we tend to depart from our family which isn't a good thing. anyways thanks for sharing!

I think that it is important to do things with your family that would mean being able to get to know people a little better, as often if you just stay in at home you would end up watching television instead of chatting to each other. Going out for a meal is a fantastic idea because you would be able to talk to each other without any of the other distractions that you might have at home. Make sure that you don't do anything that some members of your family don't enjoy, though, as you want your family time to be enjoyable rather than being a chore.

we just don't watch movies, we laugh together, we cry together! well most of the time its my little sister who ends up crying and then me picking on her, it turns out to be overall fun! we don't really go out cause we are like always out through out the week, so the little time i get i want to spend with my family, being at home.

Judging by what you said,You are strongly attached to your family. It is a good idea for you to spend the weekends on family reunion. You can not only take your mind off the work but also enjoy family happiness. We usually have family reunions on New Year's Day or happy event such as birthday of a certain one.

yah i am very much attached to my family! i mean i work and study so i barely get to see my family much other than weekends, so every weekend is like a blast! we generally go out at New years day,and birthday parties doesnt happen much, unless we can get a leave from our work, and if we can it turns out to be perfect! anyways thanks for your input.

hi rock
i do think ummmm.......the best way to spend time with family to go outside somewhere for picnic........like at any hilstation, can say to go udagmandalam(ooty) or to simla kullu manali mahabaleshwar or lonawala-khandala or can go to some religious places like tirupathy or vaishnav devi in himachal or in jammu kashmir can go amarnath.........there are so many places in india like ajmer in rajsthan where you can go with your family to spend quality time .......

I guess the best time to be with a family would be to go on a retreat, get away from the things that distract you with your family.

That's the best part of our family, re-Unions, we dont really get distracted, we has several rules actually and some of them are no talking about work, unless is pretty funny, no working at home during the weekends, no talking calls etc etc, and we stick to them!

I am an entrepreneur, so I have plenty of time for my family, I have no difficulty to find time with my family. But, sometimes the amount of time to be with family, be in vain. Because, we do not make our time together with quality. We are sometimes busy with our own pleasure.

The best time for spending time is weekends and public holidays this time is very special for spending time with famailies, sepecialy for weekends as all of them have holidays I mostly go outing like for movies, parks beaches this seeks very relaxing for me to spend time with my parents. Also I think we must all have a time alloted to spend with our parents. Nowadays most of us are so busy in our corporate life that we hardly spend time with parents. So lastly concluding we all should give our parents precious time from our life.

Indeed! they do deserve it! and spending some time out is good, people often tends to get bored of being home, especially those who work at home, however for us being at home and enjoying the time seems perfect. Thanks for sharing.

Usually, when our daughter is home for a vacation from school, we would eat snacks after going to church. Then, we would watch a DVD at night when husband comes home from work. I would always prepare juice and something to munch on, when we watch DVD.
That, is an awesome time with my family!
