Hi, I just read the TERMS of mylot in payment section and it says it required a valid paypal account. Do this mean I need to link a credit or debit card into my paypal account before mylot pay me a $10.00?
The reason I ask this question is because I don't have any bank account or credit card right now to link to my paypal account, so if the answer for the above question is yes, then I'm not gonna receive any payment from mylot because my paypal have no link to other account. Help please...

It is mentioned that you need a valid paypal account...
There is difference between a valid paypal account and a verified paypal account. A verfied paypal account Is one which needs the account to be linked with a credit Card or bank account. But a valid papal account Is just an existent paypal account...
There are some sites which require verified account but as far as mylot Is concerned you can easily get your payment in your VALID paypal account....
Have a great time mylotting....!!!!

This is an accurate answer. There is indeed a difference between a valid paypal account and a verified one.
If you have a valid paypal account even if unverified you can receive payment from mylot. But your sending or withdrawing money through this unverified account is limited. This limitation is lifted to a certain degree when you verify it with your credit card or visa.
I think you can also deposit it to your bak account (with charges) even when the account is not verified, I'm not sure of this though.

Hi there,
Valid just means that you have a PayPal account and that you have input the right and accurate information. If you have not linked a bank and or credit card you will not be able to withdraw the earnings there, as it is considered unverified. You can use your earning for online purchases and or let them sit there until you do verify your PayPal.
Please go to your PayPal account and make sure you do not have a limited account, you may not but if you do and the deposits are greater then the limited set amount then your earnings will be returned back to myLot and it will sit in your myLot account until next payout and continue to accumulate if you continue to participate.
Though I give you this additional information as I see it happen here too often where members see the deduction on payday and then it is returned and this has been the main reason.
Hope this helps and if you are aware or not it is certainly worth taking a look at your PayPal terms. Good luck to you.

A valid paypal accont means that you need a paypal account and email address thats linked with it, also that you have the authority to use it, you don't need a standard bank account or a credit card just a basic paypal email address, as others have stated.

By "valid" Paypal, it means that a Paypal id where the amount can be send, that is, the Paypal email id has to exist and has to be a correct one.
I guess you confused it with a "verified" Paypal for which you will have to verify your Paypal account by using a Credit card.

All member above has answer your question correctly. I just want to share my experience about verifying my paypal account. Just like you, I didn't have credit card when I need to link my paypal account with credit card. Then I found, virtual credit card (vcc) can be used to verify paypal account. Finally, I bought vcc and I got my paypal account verified. If you want to know more about vcc you can read here: http://bizcovering.com/business/verifying-paypal-account-using-vcc.
Lately, I knew that we can verify our paypal account using our local bank account. It's easy and no expense. We have to add our bank account information then paypal will sent little amount money to our bank account. We have to enter the amount of monet sent by paypal to our paypal account. However, this feature is no longer available at the moment. The only way to verify paypal account is using credit card or vcc.

Hi rhannealmoite,
If you decide to send your application for credit card, be careful when you use it to verify your paypal account. Once you own credit card and link it to your paypal account, your card has to be valid forever, otherwise you will get trouble with your account.
When you link your credit card with paypal, paypal will confirm your card to the bank which issued the card. It usually take 2-3 weeks. Your bank and paypal will be linked when someday you can't pay the bill and didn't pay the card, your paypal account will be frozen. Friend of mine has experienced this and can't solve this problem.

@ de_toya.
Aw. So it is true that you can verify your Paypal account through your local bank back then. Too bad that feature is not available now..:(.
Now I need to open an Eon Visa at Unionbank just to get my Paypal verified.

When they say Valid Paypal Account meaning that paypal you are using is active and connected to your email address. In order to receive you cold cash, you must link you Paypal to a Credit or Debit Card for you to be consider as a verified member.
Paypal.com don't release payment/money if you are UNVERIFIED State.
