How many hours you usually spend in the grocery when you shop?

I usually spend 2 hours and sometimes that is not enough for me. My hubby usually complain because I am taking too much time but I can't help it. Even if I have a list of what I suppose to get in the store, I still keep on going around looking for something that I could add and most of the time, I am getting things not on the list. what about you? are you so temperate to keep within your limit?

Hours? No way! In half an hour I'm out! I usually have a list made by my wife and I am disciplined: I buy only what's on the list. This is why it doesn't take me too long to buy everything I need. I know women have this "ability" of spending hours for shopping but I don't complain. Me and my wife made a deal: we never go shopping together. When she has time to go shopping, I usually let her go alone, because I don't like to waste my time like that.

Hours??? I don't spend hours at the grocery store. I spend maybe 20 - 30 minutes, on a normal size store. For a place like Wal-Mart Supercenter I might take longer...not only because it's bigger and it tends to be more crowded, but because I usually have one of my kids with me and they always want to look at things! LOL But even then it still takes me less than an hour. Happy mylotting!

Usually it takes an hour depending on how many items are needed to be bought, mostly more on home maintenance and rations. I keep a list of them in handy and that's where the limit is observed because my budget is sometimes tight.

For my daily needs I go to the grocery store just in the next building. So I do not spend much time there. If ever I go to the Supermarket that is once in about two months I usually spend two to three hours there. This includes the time I spend in Mcdonalds for snacks.

Same like you, i usually shop for my household grocery based on a list which i prepared earlier. But when i arrived at that shopping area, i usually ended-up getting some extra things which is not in my list. It is because the item is on promotion, so i will get it before the price rise again. By the time, i am ready to make the payment, i can see that i had spend nearly an hour in that grocery area. Most of the time, my hubby and my child will started to complain and i told them we should get things while they are on promotion, so can save money for other purposes... Am i right?

Oh my, not that long for me at all. I hate grocery shopping. I usually have a list in my head, know exactly what aisle it's to be found, get what I need and get out of there! I am in and out in about a half hour and half that is probably spent in the checkout line.

I wish I am like you. Even if I'm not buying everything I check, I just want to go around and see what I can see.

it only takes me about an hour because all I have to shop for is me....so I take plenty of time going up and down the aisle....also check out deals and search for my coupons.....but I don't really go very often....or buy very much.

hahaha.. maybe that is men thing. They don't want to go around and stayed longer in the shopping sore like women do. That's my hubby too, he is always in a hurry and keeps on complaining when I stayed longer. Lately, he will not go with me in the store, he just wait in the car hahaha and he still complaining because he waited longer.

I usually have a list of things to buy with me, whenever i will do some shopping at the grocery. That way, i get to spend within my means and will not be staying long at the grocery.

That's the best thing to do. I am now educating myself to do my listing at home before I go to the grocery store so that I already have in mind what I am going to do.

It usually takes me 1-2 hours to go grocery shopping. This is of course shopping for all important and not so important things. I tend to get off track from my list. I tend to buy things that we do not really need in the house. So end up spending a lot of time in deciding whether I really need something or not. it is a habot of mine and I'm not sure how to break it.

hahah I am like that too. I often put in the cart the things that are not on my list thinking that I can still use that. This is the most important thing that I should take into consideration. I must be temperate and go for what is more important.

Me and my mom love to spend hours on the grocery, but my dad doens't so he always keep complaining. I usually don't make a list so I spend a lot time in each section searching for new products and reading their labels.

hahaha I can relate to that. Maybe men are not into it.. like spending time on the store because my hubby is like that too. He'd rather stay in the car waiting for me that to stay inside the store standing and waiting,, when I will be done. Well, in the care he can listen to music of read something.
