I like them both but I like to hear more from listening to piano because I think I feel relaxed and comfortable and its melody could melt me like an ice cream. Whenever I see people playing it, I like to sit with him and request to play my favorite songs and sing it aloud. How I wish that I could learn to play it.

I can say I like them both because i sing with accompaniment of both guitar and piano. My husband sing and strumming guitar while we are singing and our pianist also play the piano while we singing also. I belong to a group choir with my husband and friends at our community in church. If you are asking which one of the two i better select the piano coz it exact the tone unlike the guitar need to adjust. But guitar has the advantages also that i like because if i need the low tone of voice or high pitch it is adjustable. The two are important to us most when singing.

I do like both guiter and piano music, but , if I have to pick my favorite, it would be piano. I agree with you. Piano music is more relaxing and enchanting. Another musical instrument I very much like is the harp. The sound of harp is really very beautiful. I wish I could play the harp myself. Hopefully some day !

I like both of them, but i like listening to guitar accompaniment more. Specially, when the singer has a very cool voice, the guitar seemed to sound more beautiful! It's so romantic for me to hear it.

I like both music played or songs accompanied on guitar and piano. Unfortunately I cannot play guitar. It is just possible to take a guitar, of course, when there is some event outside, to sit, for example, by the fireside among friends and sing some lovely songs accompanied by guitar.

Though both instruments are amazing, I really suggest to learn the piano first, before learning any other instrument. Piano really helps you learn everything you need when it comes to instruments, especially because, the piano offers a great range of notes which can be accessed very easily. With this type of practice, you can learn to play anything, just like the guitar.
I personally enjoy listening to the violin. Its more soothing for me.
Cheers.

I love piano. Search for Fox Rain piano version original soundtrack of My girlfriend is a Gumiho, a tv series from korea and you'll fell in love with the music. Piano is refreshing and so classy. Listening to it makes me feel like I'm back in the past. It's soft and ear candy. I also love guitar bu I just prefer piano.

I'm so happy that you like music too. My daughter wants also to play the piano. She actually take her first lesson but stopped for a while because she attended her swimming lessons this summer. Maybe, she can continue again next month. I'm happy to see young people like you trying to learn new things. You are still young and can learn many things in life.Enjoy!!

Hi Squarepants,
I like them both. Certain songs sound better on one or the other. I do think the piano can give a fuller sound and arrangement. Some guitar players can do this as well though. I would say of the two though that piano when played masterfully is the nicer of the two. That said I would have to say that mandolin is my preference over both...:)
