Cellular phones are one of the things that people can't live without. For today's trend people nowadays requires cell phones with them. Some may be so crazy in updating their cell phones some may just use it for important usage. Like me, I can't deny the fact that I can't go anywhere without them with me due to the fact some might important calls or text may come from important people that I know. It may be for emergency, for my leisure time, or pleasure, or even for some purposes. For as long as people know how to control theirselves in using that gadget from our new technology there will be no chaos.

Yes, I agree that with you. Sometimes we go for the trend not anymore thinking its value. Because of people have this sometimes it will be a part of our wants. There are advantages and disadvantages of everything we have right now but the important thing that we need to have is knowing our limitations and learning how to control ourselves in everything that we have.

That is the problem. Studies have proved that cell phone rays cause damage to brain. They have suggested not using is directly. Yes I remember one incident. A few days back. Indiana - KOHL's shop - 4.30 pm my wife and daughter went inside for buying clothes. I was tired, I sat on the chair which was outside the showroom, I saw an american guy (well built, jeans pant and uniform shirt) talking over phone sitting on a small wall on the platform outside that show room. 5.20 pm my wife and daughter came out after buying clothes-- that man - employee of Kohls - was still talking over cell phone. I could not hear the conversation because the door was made of glass and noise proof. This is nothing. In chennai I have seen girls talking over cell phone for hours together with their lovers. such activities should be curtailed. have a good day.

Yes, I heard that there are studies about cell phone rays can damage brain. I even heard that there are suggestions that when you sleep at night it should be good to let cell phones beside near in your head. Nowadays because of the new technology that has been made to make life easier but people doesn't know now how to discipline theirselves. I am not saying I know how to control everything with my life but I mean is that you people know how to balance everything we have right now there will be no problem at all. As the saying goes: Too much of something may lead you into danger".

Yes, I think cellular phone is already one of the most important necessities that people can't live without. In our generation, cellular phone is everywhere and even small children do have their own cellphone. Regardless of the status whether they are rich or poor, almost everybody owns a cellphone. It is because it is a basic need for communicating other people who are far away from us especially with our family, relatives, and significant others. It is less hassle and superior in communicating efficiently. Due to the very low cost of a cellphone right now, I think everybody would not hesitate to buy at least one cellphone for their own necessity. I also noticed especially the students, they will sacrifice their allowances to buy load instead of food to text their classmates or crush hehe. Take care and GOD bless.

I agree with your ideas. Nowadays, people are so into with the new trends. There are advantages of using cell phones. And I think it's up to the person which he/she prefer to use it in the right way around or in the wrong way around. Thank you and God bless you too.

With money being tight at the moment my husband and I do not have a cell phone. I know we need to get one, but we cannot afford one. I have been looking for a prepaid cell phone, but I am not sure if it is worth it. My husband's employer expects us to buy a cell phone for his job, but we keep telling him we cannot afford it. My husband's boss is really bugging us to get a cell phone and has told my husband if we do not get one soon my husband may lose his job.

There are some phones that are not expensive. There are even secondhand that are also good to use which the cost is quite cheap nowadays. Why not try to buy one phone for both of you. Like you can use it sometimes then your husband use that sometimes also. Have a good day.

Most of the people now a days can't live without their cellphones with them. It's like a companion to us that wherever we are going it is always carried together with us.It is very useful to us people especially on emergency cases and on our daily events in life.It help us also to connect our love ones even if they are away from us.Even me I always carry my phone with me especially when I am away from home.Even the less fortunate people have their own cellphone unit too.I just don't want to read those chain messages that most of my friends send I just immediately delete them.

I agree with you. I remembered a friend of friend who always bring her cell phone with her even if she is in the comfort room or even she's taking a bath she always have somebody to talk with like if she's taking a bath she put it in a loud speaker then talk with someone else. That's how crazy she is. LOL. Same thing with me I hate chain messages especially when it tells about God that if you don't send that to specific person you will have a bad luck. I don't believe that. So, I will just ignore them and delete them right away.

Ya, they are important. But I can live absolutely fine without one for at least a month. In fact I have done it. Don't think that I do not get call from nobody! I do. Sometimes I get quite annoyed by frequent calls and texts. However, my last cell suddenly had a problem. It wouldn't start up. I didn't buy a new one, instead kept that one in cold storage(!) for some days then deposited at the service center. They took a lo-------ng time to repair it. By the time it was in my hands, one month passed. And I tell you, it was the month of freedom!

Awesome. I never thought about it can be happen but I am very amaze with this experience. I think you are right of having no cell phone for a month will be quite different. You'll have a freedom sometimes not to get some calls and some texts which sometimes can annoy you. I am now thinking to try that experience to put away my phone sometime so that I can appreciate life without cell phone at all quite sometime. :D

I agree to it. The cellphone is not only a communication tool for me, but also an entertainment device. I like to use it to surf the net, check the stock market, watch movies etc. And if I forget to bring it with me, I will feel lost and feel like I have missed many important calls. I love China

Same thing with me I always check my mobile phone all the time. I don't want to miss any text messages and if possible so as with my calls. Sometimes, upon going to the office and if I checked that I don't have with me my mobile phone I usually go home and get my phone with me.Heheheehehe.... By the way you mentioned that you love china? Am correct? are you trying to say you love china phones? Are you from china? I am interested to know more about mobile phones in China. Are mobile phones from your place will rally long last because I heard so many stories about China phones. Thanks.

While I have one and carry it with me at work, I can perfectly live without one. It's useful sometimes, but not something I depend to live on. In fact, I has my phone for more than 3 years now and have no plans on changing it for quite some time, at least until it stops working. It's all about rational usage. I use it when I have to call or text someone, or maybe when playing a game, but nothing more. I still have regular phones for communication if I really have to.

I can't also live without my laptop and cellphone but I don't change to new model often, as long as I can use it to call or message someone that would b fine with me. It is also important for me because my husband calls us from time to time since he is working outside the country. It is a necessity now and not anymore a luxury.

There are also advantages of those things that so called a luxury now. One of those it can helped us to have an easy communication to our love ones. Good thing that they discover cellular phones that even if our love ones is outside the country they can be able to reach or vice versa. For as long as we use them in the right manner it can be helpful for everybody.

I think it is normal nowadays to check our cell phones most of the time. For as long as we know how to use it in the right way there is nothing wrong with that.
