When I was 16, I started college with a degree of bachelor of secondary education. Everything was doing good but somehow, everthing fell apart when my parents could not pay for my tuition.
I applied as a working student with a teacher in my school and she was the one who paid for my tuition. ButI stayed there for only one semester and my mother said they would pay for my tuition but eventually, they stopped since my sister is taking her review for the board exams.
At a very young age, I had made a lot of tough decisions with my life. Like giving my own daily allowance to my sister so that she can go to school and working for my family.
That is just the general story. Have you experienceds something like this?

The biggest struggle in my life right now is that my husband is currently overseas. He is a united states marine. I havent seen him in over a year. Its really hard to be away from your husband for that long but I know its for a good cause. Hopefully he will be able to come visit me soon. I would really love to see him after him being gone for so long.

Every day there is a mountain to climb, a road to cover - problems to overcome. I recall the time I had to write my diploma paper to finish my studies. I was afraid to fail, but I still graduated. I got a scholarship to spend three months abroad. I had to get acquainted with new circumstances, the language. Sometimes it was not easy when there were no people whom to tell how I fell. I still like the country, but I was glad to return home. I might say the biggest struggle was the time when my sister got acquainted with unpleasant people. I would like to forget the times of suffering, and one should remember there is always a hope, a new tomorrow.

Thank you so much for sharing this. Yes, there are memories or experiences that we want to forget but still, we can say it helped us survive.

Yes, maybe I am lucky to have been experience this.
It may have been hurtful at that time but at least I know that if something happens like again, I would know how to handle it since I have surpassed it all.

Hi friend..
Its a life and all those are ups and downs of our life... it never means a struggle for me... we are obligated to continue our life with many obstacles but all are the parts of our life.... without these the life is worth to live.
have a nice day.

The biggest struggle this is facing me in my life is getting a good and well paid job soon after my graduation from the university. It is a challenge most school leaver, university and polytechnic graduate face in Nigeria. There are too many people chasing very few jobs. The jobs become very competitive to get whenever they becomes available. There are graduates in Nigeria that graduated from University they are yet to get a good job 6 or 8 years after leaving the university. They just make do with teaching job in private school which are available but the salary they pay teacher is very little.
Unemployment is a national problem in Nigeria and quite sadly the Nigeria politician have not been able to address the problem because they lack the political will to do so. They are just interested in stealing money from the national treasure and telling the nigerian lies upon lies, year in and year out.
Many graduate in Nigeria that is suppose to be independence are still depending on their relatives for financial supports years after leaving the university. It is a national shame and it is also a sadness for many people in Nigeria.

Since I was in high school I was called " walking RTW" ready to wear clothes, because i'm selling all those with my teachers, classmate, their parents, and in our neighborhood. This just started when my mom and dad separated. My mom is just a housewife. And i'm the eldest child.I set up my mind that I need to provide for their needs.Until I finished high school. Then I took scholarship examination at a university which was successful.Until now I'm a scholar student and I only have one semester to finish college.I Study in the morning and I work in a call center comp at night to provide our needs.the good was,I do have a small business this helps me for the other expenses of my younger sisters and brother. Its very difficult for me because I don't have enough sleep every single.
MY SECRET IS JUST BELIEVE IN GOD,LOVE YOUR FAMILY
AND TRUST YOURSELF.:)
