Many people want to have one or two or even more sports to maintain for their recreation, exercise, and for maintaining good health and even relationships. Yes one of the sports I like is tennis. Decent and professional and even worldwide in fame. How about you? do you know how to play this prestigious sport? hey....

ya my friend very much a game of brilliant and reach people i feel.
i played tennis long way back and the cost of the sports association for tennis was very high if i compare them with other sports.
i personally like this sport a lot because it shows you some shear brilliance by some brilliant people.
i m still learning to play better tennis but after playing one thing i come to know for sure that its the toughest game to play if i compare it with football, cricket ,basketball.
regards.

hahaha.. you are right!! tennis is one of the most prestigious game in the world and many would like to play this game not because they want to exercise but some of them want to belong to an elite group thinking that tennis is one of the games for elite people. just to think about it. How much is a tennis racket? I heard it cost a lot of money. And ordinary people who can not afford to buy racket can not play this game. Therefore, if you are into this game, you belong to the elite people. Congrats.. that's a good sport?![](/Content/images/emotes/thumbup.gif)

Well, some would say that this game is so expensive and for the elite one...I think it is affordable as long as you have the interest of this game. Many rackets now a days that are so low in price. You can have one even in a very minimal budget, but if you want to have one that is so costly, yes there is too, both elite and ordinary one can play this game. Just try and give interest in it, and rackets will follow.
Thank you Bebs for the positive comments.

I used to play quite a bit, but haven't been able to for the last few years for one reason or another. Yes, it does require the player to think and make good decisions on the court. Some professionals do get by on purely athletic ability and have great success in some cases. I was always a big fan of Martina Hingis because she did so well because she was so smart on the court and in spite of not being big and super strong and having an overpowering serve or something.

i played lawn tennis way back about more than a decade ago. but i must say that all kinds of sports are for brilliant people.
it takes discipline to play one. and some level of intelligence and talent too. i have made myself familiar with a variety of sports. though i did not become a "formal player" for any of them, i could say that they aren't as easy as they seem.
but for one, tennis is a good cardio workout. however, it has more risk of injury than basketball, with all the twisting and short stopping just to keep the ball volleying.
welcome to mylot, reg!![](/Content/images/emotes/cool.gif)

Thanks for your comment about this pretigious sport I should say, yes all kinds of sports are for brilliant people but tennis is so interesting and it needs more concentration and patience. Once you broke your peace during the game all yur strokes will be affected and will not be effective compared to one who is so relax and have focus on the game.
Thanks murkie for your positive comments and negative as well.
