Are you a good listener?

I am a good listener sometimes but there are times that I am bored of it. Specially if the person keeps on talking about himself, his achievements, etc. This is boring specially if we are not interested to know. What about you?

Listening makes one a better person to attractive others.And it is also beneficial that you will understand other person well.
But, it is not that easy to listen.Only on long practice it comes.
Yes, I do agree that some persons dialogues are repeated and they are irritating too.

In grammar, repeatition is redundancy, in sermon it is emphasis, but in mylot a lot of discussion...right?

listening is very important aspect of one's life.
its not that important that how talented and how good a speaker you are but if you are not a good listener to listen to them what they say ,then even your say doesnt make any importance for them.
then people would consider you a person who doesnt listen to anyone and only keep speaking.
i sometimes face this problem.
for me if one wants to be successful then he should a good listener and considerate.

I think, that all depends.. when our relatives or family members who need somebody to listen to their problems, yes, it is always good to listen to them. But if some other people who just want attention, I doubt it if I can stay longer to listen if they are always bragging about something.

I'm a pretty good listener. But regarding those people who talk so full of themselves, I'd probably just act like I'm listening and just nod when needed.

Yes i am a good listener i always give chance others to speak first.But this is not acceptable that he talks of rubish things i always feel "listening is always a silver if speech is gold".
By listening to people you get to know about people remember me if you have the patience to listen to the people then only you can be a good friend to them.

I am a very good listener if the topic being discussed is important and useful otherwise i just ignore it because we don't have that much time to waste so i think one must give their ears to those who speak wise.

Yes only listen to those who are worth to listen and don't listen to everyone because it simply waste our time and it also affects our concentration so i believe be a good listener to those who talk wise.

I try to be a good listener. The problem is that sometimes I might even forget something I need to do for myself after I have spent my time penetrating into someone's problems. It is harder for me to make others listen to me, but I cannot send away someone who wants to tell me their story.

I am a really good listener, probably too good because I always listen and the other person always talks. But I think that's what makes me a good friend. =)

Well, as a good friend we need to show our interest to someone when he/she shared something out from their emotions maybe. Give them chance to feel that your a good listener despite the fact that in yourself your no longer interested. Who knows that you will become an intrument for their happiness and success. Whatsoever you sow, that you also reap. Give them place in your heart? Listen....
