I am mistaken because they look alike....

hello celestial, Yes it did happen to me few times. Like calling someone and when that person turn back and look ,it's really embarrassing. I am sure this happens to many of us,"mistaken identity" Or maybe it's us mistaken by other people for someone they knew. have a good day :)

That must have been really embarrassing! But at least you realized that she wasn't your friend when you were still with her. You were able to ask for her apology. Imagine if you only realized it when you have alighted the bus and you went your separate ways. You'd be too embarrassed and will not be able to do a thing!

That's very interesting. In fact, coincidentally, some thing like that happened to me yesterday. I saw a lady at the bus station. I thought she was some one I knew, looked very much exactly. So, I greeted her and talked to her. She looked at me, laughed, and said that she had never met me before. Oh, that was so astounding ! It was a shock !

hahaha.. that's fine at least you meet another person to be come your friend. Did you not go ahead talking to her like a friend? That was your initial acquaintance. Well, sometimes it happens to people. You are not alone in that situation. That might be a good start to make friends.

Hi celestial its not a big issue & not a topic to think much because every one gets mistaken sometime & feel embarassed this is a bit common thing. I have done this many times & apologise for my mistake.
