Michelle Obama: Barack is a "tireless" workaholic

According to Michelle Obama, her husband is veritable workhorse. She described his worth ethic as “tireless,” according to pool reports. "This man doesn't take a day off."
I guess she didn't notice the 70 rounds of golf he's played or remember the numerous vacations they've all taken as a family.
There are a lot of things one could say of Obama in regards to dedication. For one thing, he's endlessly dedicated to his agenda, regardless of how badly it turns out for the American people. But I don't think any of us, even his supporters, could say we believe he's never taken a day off.
"I see the sadness and worry that's creasing his face...."
I think she should go look at the worry on the faces at the unemployment office.

They could be the greatest comedy at since George and Gracie! Maybe even Abbott and Costello. I look for them on the comedy circuit in the future.

Mycal Massie of the black conservative think tank Project 21 has described her as a harriden.

And of course the controversial Dr. James Manning describes Obama as the long legged mac daddy. I really don't know what that means but I'm sure it's not good.

He's a tireless Golfaholic, but that's about it.
He is looking aged and tired though... but that isn't a hit against him, all presidents look aged and tired by this point.

You made me think of that nasty scar on his head, they're careful to not let that show anymore. But now that you've mentioned it, his hair does go from one shade to another. Maybe its the lighting?

The Obamas think the American people are complete idiots. I agree as far as believing all the crap that is spouted about the Obamas there appears to be large number of idiots who do fall for the propaganda but thank God there are many proud Americans who can read between the lines and see the truth.

I would guess he would be tired. This is the first job he has ever had. It must be tiring to actually have to DO something for the first time in his life. He is finding out what it is like to sort of punch a clock. But I would not call it a 'workaholic' type of an effort unless you call all the time he spends screwing the average American out of their constitutional rights work.
Michelle certainly does not look like she is working too hard...lol

I hadn't thought of that, he's never really had to punch a clock, so to speak. It must be exhausting for him. Michelle definitely isn't working too hard, but then she isn't supposed to really have any duties, and I feel safest when she isn't trying to do something for the American people. I don't want her in charge of my plate, thanks all the same.

I'm sure he's tired and stressed, that job would age anyone. But he is completely disconnected from the people and doesn't care what anyone thinks of him. He has no feeling for the unemployed, the people who've lost everything or the ones in "Obamaville" tent cities. And he really doesn't care, apparently. If he did, he would surround himself with competent advisers instead of the ivory tower academicians he has now.

Competent advisors who are mainstream and reflect more of the attitudes and philosophies of the majority of Americans and not the 'ivory tower academics' you describe.
After all, it was supposedly mainstream America that elected him.
I think if those in the minority population who DO HAVE mainstream values whould stop looking at his race and listen closer to his 'ivory tower' rhetoric' we will see a different outcome in Nov. 2012. That is what I am reading and hearing from conservative minority members.

The campaign has begun. The President has paid big money for experts I would suppose. And they are probably coaching the first couple in what to do to discredit the conservative and Republican talking points that have been brought up in the last few years. One of which his love of the golf course. So...just another bit of propaganda for the sheep is all this is.

Michelle made these remarks at a fund raiser. I hear the latest one didn't draw a huge crowd. She's creating the hard-worker narrative, definitely. I don't think many are believing it. I definitely don't believe they wouldn't be disappointed to move out of the White House. Michelle is enjoying this a lot.

Obama didn't do so well in Florida either. (giggle)
He got heckled by AIDS activists.
Is the tide turning? I've heard a few Congressmen are questioning his social security card problem and the Supreme Court is taking a close look at his actions too. AND he has till Friday to present his PLAN for the conflict in Lybia. (more giggles)

Looking aged and tired is a part of being the President of the United States. As for the Leisure Activities I think the only one we can say that was always at work was Bill Clinton he knew how to mix leisure with work really well. (Sorry couldn't Help it) I mean with Obama it is getting to him I can see it in his face when he does speeches and noticed that not everyone agreed to him. I wouldn't be surprised if he realized he is in over his head and well he doesn't want to admit it because that would make him look weak and all so he is going for a second term because he feels obligated to. I don't think he was fully ready for the mental requirements that the President of the United States as a Job requires of everyone that steps in to that position you are going to be in charge of a nation that has its hands in a ton of different cookie jars and you have to keep them all fairly full or else the people might not like you. I mean he has to try and balance a million and one things.
These aren't excuses but I am sure what she met to say is sleepless. You can tell under his eyes that he hasn't slept that well since taking office it started to show like 3 months in and I think the only one that was still sleeping fine was Bill Clinton. But I mean he was in a different time period so I guess maybe thats the difference in the 90s we didn't care to much but now that we are in 3 wars and have 2 other countries that are unstable at the least. There are a ton of issues that we want Obama to address but he seems to not be doing anything but golfing but I think the news does more covering of the President doing leisure activities than any other part of his job. I mean they only show presidents doing two things signing Bills and Leisure activity of some kind unless you are Bill Clinton.

good one Dark!
It's true that being president ages one. And even though I do not agree with Obama in the least, it's got to be difficult-down right scary to know so much depends on you.
As for leisure activities, maybe Bill's were a little more 'relaxing' than Obama's? Or Bill was just too stupid to know he was the leader of the free world and not just in a oversized harem?

I noticed that Bill pointed his finger when he said that, and Rep Weiner shook his finger when he denied his recent behavior. I am going to start watching what people do, not what they say.
I think you are right that he looks distressed that people are not agreeing with him all the time. It's tough going from total adulation to critical feedback. Obama is really overwhelmed because he's not prepared to answer the tough questions. He was elected on sound bytes and platitudes. Policy is much more complicated and a lot less exciting. He simply doesn't have the answers to the tough questions, and no one is hearing "hope and change" anymore or taking it for an answer.
