I don't think counseling per say is the answer. That comes with such a negative connotation. However, I do think that classes should be offered, and maybe even required on how to deal with stressful situations, making good choices, and using resources that will help in times of need. I don't see why these are not done actually. It makes a lot of sense, and would avoid a lot of problems and misunderstandings.

90% of people can manage stress pretty well i think. some should really learn how to controll the stress and it would be good if they teach you that in university (thats probably one of the times when you have problems with studying.

Some people may need counseling in order to deal with stress. Others can manage it on their own. Some people get their peace from their belief that God will take care of them and their situation. Others take time to meditate to relax and clear the mind. Sometimes all it takes is a few deep breaths to clear the mind. We are in control of our own minds, but sometimes our own mind is our worst enemy. I know I create situations in my own mind that never ever come up, but make my stress level higher. Some stress is a given in life but some stress can be removed, and if possible should be removed if it isn't benefiting our lives any longer.

It would be nice if we all learned how to manage stress better. I have found some of the very best things to do for stress are to exercise, eat well, get enough sleep, and try to do some fun, relaxing things. When people get stressed out though they often stop taking good care of themselves and it just gets worse. Sometimes we all just need a break and to pay attention to overall health and stress will go down.
