Violent Games are fun

i like games like GTA where you can go off and kill people it is really fun to so and it can relieve stress or maybe fallout since the weapons are brutal melting the people or setting them on fire or possibly planting mines on them and watching them explode is soo cool maybe even popping heads or limbs being evil in games can be real fun and im sure some would disagree or call me sick in the head but i remind some people they are just games and probably reduce violence or do nothing at all who would agree with me on these cool features of games also i would never act any of these things out just in the game

This must be a guy thing?? I don't find anything entertaining about watching or participating in make believe blowing off limbs or heads. Yikes I know guys and even girls like to blow things up and actually I think it's cool to see an explosion but not where people are involved. That is where I draw the line. I understand if the person is representing evil, but still I am not for it. There is much on the news about violent games and impressionable young kids. I don't think it's really healthy for kids to see heads blown off..but you are an adult and so perhaps you do get some aggressions out in a game which is not harming anyone?? But I am still not sure the mentality of watching people be destroyed can be healthy for any age. Just my opinion. I go back and forth between..well if it's an evil person maybe it's ok ..but no I don't really think so. I am ok with making them disappear..but I don't like the graphic violence part. Again just my opinion

of course your ok with them disappearing you dont play them or find them fun violence is pretty cool play in that is why they are so succesful and stuff because people find it fun, millions a play video games and out that crowd how many actually go n murder people n stuff

Sorry..I wasn't clear..I didn't mean the games should disappear..I meant I would be ok with making evil people in a game disappear..like sap them out of existence. I don't like seeing heads/limbs blown off. I don't even think there are murders caused by video games..I just don't know how healthy it is for young kids (under high school age) to be blowing off people's parts.

I agree, those games can be fun, its like watching a movie sometimes. I laugh when I hear people say "they did it because of the violence in games or music". Violent people are going to do violent thing regardless, sane people can handle the games and seperate reality from fantasy. game on!

That may be true, but remember there are those who are in between. Not everyone is totally sane or totally nuts..I am not saying for sure violence in games cause problems, but I just don't know if it is a beneficial release that could be considered healthy. Seems to me there are other ways to take out ones aggressions through say, exercise? than would be more beneficial, don't you think? I am not at all judging. I'm just trying to understand a fascination others have which I don't have.

yeah when someone blames a video game i think they were messed up to begin with the games didnt really make a difference and to blame music is more stupid and the people who copy what movies do sometimes like jackass well really what in the world made you think it was ok to do something like that

I really love those kind of games too. Many people think that I am weird since im a girl and love killing things on video games lol. I think that it really relieves my stress and focus my negative energy into the game. Video games in general are just awesome stress relievers. I would play them all day if I could but sadly I have other things that I have to attend to.

yeah i dont always like ripping limbs sometimes i want to see them fly in the air like in halo 3 or reach or gta blowing walls up can be fun too

Nice discussion friend i also like violent games like gta i have this game and all part of that i also like to kill bad people if you like this type of game why dont you try Project IGI and other army game i also like that type of games.

I am somewhat like you, I guess. I have enjoyed GTA on several accounts, but it is by no means my favorite. I prefer games where the people have been mutated or turned into zombies (it seems a little more humane that way). But this isn't the best method of getting rid of stress. Try taking daily vitamins and exercising.

i like zombies games they are cool but sometimes you just want to hear them scream or run in terror that is what makes people laugh or enjoy the game

people who says that violent video games should be banned, are just stupid. for some reason the +18 is there, and if parents see that in a movie, but dont show to their sons, in video games this doesnt happen. I see 8 year old kids with gta 4, and their parents dont care. The movies are 10 times worse, but for some reason the politicians dont talk about that.

But violent game is effecting our daily life. We become very brutal and we become a murderer. It is very dangerous game, but yes it is very relieving game. Every one love the tension there
