Has anyone else been to Scotland, we went to Inverness and wanted to share

Inverness city (scotland) - This is the city of Inverness, it is a beautifull places with tonnes of things to do, great scenery, great tourist attractions and fab places to eat including an all you can eat chinese buffet restaurant. As you can see in the picture there is the main bridge in the city centre going over the main river, known as the loch.

A few years back for my 21st birthday we flew up to Scotland, Inverness and it was a fab holiday, lots to do and plenty to see. We visited many places and stayed in a cosy little guest house (bnb), I took some really lovely pictures but there was one in particular I really wanted to share which I felt captured the city and its beauty. What do you think? Does it look like a place ud like to visit? Or have you been there before? Please bare in mind this picture was taken in feb and the weather at the time, was hale, rain and snow but this was the one reason I wanted to go, I wanted snow for my birthday and I got it.

I've actually been two Scotland twice. My dad took a sabbatical, and we all lived there for a year. A couple of years back, I went back again to visit a friend who lives there. I was mainly in Edinburgh, although we did visit other areas as well. I can honestly say that I loved it. It's such a beautiful place to visit. I would love to go back.

Sadly I haven't had the chance to visit Scotland yet. But my impressions is that culturally and environmentally it's a beautiful country. I also really like the picture you have posted it is very atmospheric I think. If I was to visit Scotland the one place that I absolutely had to visit would be Loch Ness because I have a great interest in cryptozoology :)
