Two or three days ago. I got a bump on my arm. It didn't bother me at first. It was about the size of a small screw head ( probably a little smaller) round and water filled. Then the next day I got smallers ones that made a straight trail along my arm probably about 7 of them. Then I got more of the same size of the first on different parts of my arm. They all started itching like crazy. I probably have 6 of the bigger ones along with the 7 smaller ones. All itching and all water filled. Anyone have any idea what thy might be. Someone said it might be poison oak or ivy, but I cant remember going any where that even had grass or bushes. I know its hard without seeing them. Any thoughts?

If you have pets you can get poison oak or ivy off of their coats. There are some good over the counter things to help with the itch. Don't scratch it causes it two spread. I find hemorrhoid cream numbs the area as well as anything else. It could also be bites same treatment for them.

Your son may not be as sensitive. I have special wipes for cats and I just go over mine with these when he's been out. If you had washed with poison oak sopa as soon as you fount the first bump you might have stopped it. That's what I do, in fact I have even stopped the car and gone back home to wash when I find one.

That's a reaction to something. it could be something you ate or even just something floating in the air.
Check with your chemist, he may be able to recommend an antihistamine or some other sort of tablet to ward off hay-fever etc..
I take hay-fever tablets for ANY sort of itching I have. It seems that I itch for many different, even minor skin irritations and these tablets are fabulous.

Hi MsTickle, No it w poison oak. I went to the doctor and she prescribed some meds to help it. So far so good. I remembered later that I had been on a bike trail looking and touching different plants. I probably touched the poison one and didnt even know it.

You know, I have absolutely no clue at all what these bumps that you are talking about are, but it could have been me that was writing this discussion because I've got something very similar to you going on. I'm pretty sure that it is not poison ivy because I don't remember being around any of that. I was, however, at a picnic last week and ended up having ants crawling on me, so I tend to think in my case it is ant bites.
