I've been trying to make money online in a variety of ways for just over a month now, and I'm begginning to feel discouraged by my lack of success thus far. I've tried numourous online survey panels, tried my hand at ebay selling, I've just recently started blogging and I've joined this wonderful website, but the compensation is never substantial enough (to me) compared to the amount of time and effort I've spent. I could definitely use the extra cash, and I'm not looking to get rich quick. I'm just looking for a semi steady income that I can generate for myself from home. If you have any suggestions, PLZ let me know!!

I always refer anyone who asks this kind of question to Textbroker.com. If you are US citizen, you can write for them. They pay per word, and the amount that you can potentially make with them is great. It is not for everyone, but I have really enjoyed my time working for Textbroker.

Great, I hope that this kind of thing works out well for you. I was lucky enough to happen upon Textbroker over a year ago. I have to thank my mom for first pushing me to look into freelance writing on the internet. I could not have had the success that I have if it had not been for her.

There are several sites that I use to make a decent amount of money each month. I write articles for associatedcontent. They pay upfront for your articles as well as paying you a certain amount per one thousand page views. I also use survey sites. My two favorite are surveyspot and opinionoutpost. I have been using all three of these sites for years and I love them.

It can take a while to really find your way to making money online. I have had months where I made thousands (article writing) and other months where I didn't make anything. I now have leveled it off because I have a part time job and a child, but I do make a few dollars each month through various websites. Just give yourself time to find things that work for you.

I had joined a number of online survey sites too, and have tried them many times. But, I don't waste time on them any more. Whenever I take a survey, at some point down the road, a message will come up saying that I am not qualified. Why did they ask me to take the survey in the first place ? These days, I am focusing on online writing programs, articles, short stories, reviews, and so on. One of my favorite sites is "Review Stream". If you enjoy writing, you might want to take a look at this site.

Thank you for posting this question. I too am looking for a way to make some kind of income online. Even if its just $50 dollars a month that will take care of a phone bill or the cable bill. Ratracerebellion.com has a great list of working online or work from home jobs. They are legit!!!
