you can adopt a child and become father. you can be a church father as well. or you can just believe that you are father of all children in the world. all depend son you whether you want to be father or not. you can also get married and have children .

If you don't have children, you can't be a father. Unless, of course, you are a priest or something. Grandparents count on Father's day too.

My dog is like my child. Does that make me a mom?

I believe you have to have kids or raise them to be a father unless religiously speaking. I think that is the beauty of having kids, the father and mother both get their special day for the children to celebrate them and all that they have done for them or doing for them. I also believe that a father can be someone who has raised a child not necessarily conceived them. My father's first son is not his biological son but my father was there through the pregnancy, birth, signed the birth certificate, and raised him even after the worthless mother disappeared and left my dad to raise 3 kids on his own. That is a true father!
