Windows Virus

I don't remember particulars, but there was one that was really bad, where my computer locked up every five minutes. Obviously not long enough to figure out what was the wrong. As it turned out the computer was pretty old and it was about time for an upgrade, so it was just as well. Still that is very distressful in many ways, to get a virus on your machine and not be able to have it run long enough to fix it. That just proves, got to be careful what you do. There are some viruses that can linger dorment for years, before they work any noticeable magic. Having the proper tools to deal with them, running regular scans, and most importantly, an entire boatload of comment sense. Over the years, I've gotten many viruses, some easy to deal with, some not so much, and that one like I mentioned, that pretty much messed up my entire machine beyond all repair. That is really the worst case scenario for many computer users I think. Not that there is any best case scenario for computer viruses.
