What is your relationship like with your partner? Have you been together long?

My husband and I have been married going on four years in November. We have been in love since we were teenagers. We've had some tough times but we are making it through. We love each other dearly and I'm sure that I couldn't love any other man more. We have a wonderful little family and we are always trying to improve whatever differences we may be having.

i've been married for 20 years, and i think relationships to last a lifetime should center on love, mutual respect, trust and keeping an open mind. There were lots of misunderstanding leading to arguments, but i think it is the best way to reflect on ourselves, of our life being together as a family and the promise we made when we got married.

That is so awesome that you have been married 20 years. That is a great accomplishment. Keeping a marriage going takes like you said all those things. I feel for those who enter into marriage with too high of expectation, which can lead to being like you aren't getting what you deserve. But if a couple has the qualities you mentioned and value their marriage they can find happiness.

Hi Dominique, I really appreciate the true love of yours. I would exactly feel the same, ours is love marriage as well. And we crossed through 20+years now, we had tough and cool moments, but we crossed it together and still the bond of love holds tight. True love will never fades away with time. Cheers!!

I have been with my partner for two years on Monday. We have just got engaged, which is probably a little soon by most people's standards, but to me it just shows that we are committed to each other and plan to spend the rest of our lives together. We won't be getting married for a good few years yet, but the ring on my finger shows that we have that commitment and that will never change. We get on incredibly well, and have the same friendship group which helps in any relationship I think. We are currently saving up for our own property which we hope to be able to afford in the near future.

I'm so excited for you. Congratulations on your engagement. When you've been together two years I don't think that anyone should feel that it's too early for a couple to get married. I'm happy for the both of you. And I wholeheartedly agree that having the same circle of friends does help a relationship.

feeling this way can be reassuring. It's always nice when you are in the presence of the one you love and don't need to say much but can really understand one another. I'm so happy for you.

As of now am in a commited relationship since the last 7 months. In the past my relationships have lasted on an average for only 2months. Guess things are changing this time around and the two of us like each other a lot and hope its carrys on for a long long time.
There certainly are ups and downs in a relationship and more importantly its how we manage to get through this. Life is never easy and understanding of each other is very important.
I take the opportunity to wish all mylooters a long and successful relationship in life and may good luck always be with you..

I was glad to hear that your current relationship is going well and that it is different from the past relationships you have had. It is always good when our relationship is going well and we are able to feel happy and satisfied with it.
