Can it be resolved?

Oh the news on TV... so many bad news, and barely enough good news... conflicts here and conflicts there... if there's no resolution found on issues presented, then they resolved it to acts of war or violence. Do you really believe that in life general or in this world we live in, all aspects of conflicts (be it economic, political, religious, relationship, etc) can be resolved in a peaceful manner of conversation?

There are really a lot of problems in the world for sure. A lot of conflicts, some of them in some way that have been going on for generations, where the reasons where they have happened, are rather lost a lot of the time. Yet, there are many other times where a lot of conflicts are resolved, which in theory is of course a good thing. However, many times it is not as good as a thing in practice for one simple reason. Resolving a conflict for certain people, will in fact indirectly cause some kind of conflict with many other parties. There are times where we want to fix a lot of the things in the world, but there is a chance that a lot of things that there are going to get a lot worse by just fixing it. Granted, there are times where there can be a lot of peace for sure and that is a good thing. Humanity in general will never be at peace, until it ends. There are going to be a lot of people who have strong opinions but that's not the problem. Its going to be the amount of people that are going to have those strong opinions and don't like really like people disagreeing with them. That's just a part of human history and humanity in general. There are going to be a lot of moments where there is going to be some calm but that could be just before the storm.

I do believe some people have strong opinions and that most of them don't like people disagreeing with their thoughts.... but having a strong opinion is different than resolving a conflict. Like for example If I say I totally disagree with what you just posted above and although that is just your strong opinion. The conflict is still there; it's not resolved...the question is still unanswered. So then, this peaceful conversation/discussion we have now will lead to a resolution of a conflict depending of course on your respond to me. :-)

I would like to say yes to this question but sadly that would be very naive of me. No I dont think that they can all be solved in a peaceful manner if they could be then so many conflicts would not be going on at the present moment. I really with that people would learn better ways to resolve issues but I dont think that is going to happen anytime soon.

I think we need to remain optimistic about the future. There is no use getting depressed thinking of all the sorrow, conflicts, misery around us as it does not serve anyone or any purpose. I think if we all try, do our small bits by being kind, compassionate and helpful to others, the world would indeed become a better place for all of us to live in.

Hi, Yeah everything in this world can be resolved by peace then ask why even god fought ? yeah but for somethings we can resolve and can come up with some better solution. The conflicts only gets hive when no one take a step to resolve peacefully. Ask yourself how many times you resolved your conflicts or altercation peaceful. In general, we at least should try and do discuss thing to resolve every matter in simple and peaceful way, though it though but no impossible. hope you find it right way.
