Casey Anthony trial

Have any of you been following the trial of Casey Anthony in Florida? She is the young woman whose 2 yr old child came up missing and she never told anyone for 31 days. Then she claimed that a babysitter had taken her, which turned out to be a lie because the woman didn't even exist. The little girls remains was not found for 6 months. It was decompsed enough that they could not tell how she died, but there was duck tape on her mouth. Now the defense is claiming that the child died accidently in the family pool. If she died in the pool why did she have duct tape on her mouth? Do you think that Casey will be convicted of murder or not?

The mother definately did it, there is no doubt. I never believed for a minute that she drowned in the pool. If one looks carefully the pool is high up and if she had drowned (which I do not believe) somebody would have pushed her in. ALso, since the murder weapon was duct tape wouldn't the tape fall off of the girl's mouth in the pool. I also do not believe that Casey was harmed by her father and brother as she claims. Casey did not feel any remorse when she was in jail awaiting trial and if her child had in fact been missing why would you wait to report it. Any parent would have reported it immediatley and then would have been searching day and night to look for their child.

She was out partying and having a good time for a month before she reported her daughter missing. I agree with you that I don't beleive that the child drowned. Any normal parent would have reported the child missing right away and would have been on the news pleading for the person who took the child to bring her back. There is definitely something wrong with this woman!

i never heard about it cause i live in Philippines... but when i read your post.. i am interested about the case... i love reading novels about crime and murder.. well if its the case i think casey anthony will be convicted.. may her daughters soul be in peace.. may she get the justice she deserves...

I agree, may that little girls soul rest in peace! Sounds like she may have still been alive when her mouth was taped and she was stuffed into a trash bag. Poor little thing! I am normally not a vindictive person, but I hope her mother rots in jail!

Wow I have not heard of this case. I really hope that that woman does get convicted of murder because obviously she had a hand in it. It sickens me to know that there are people out in this world that woudl do this to such a young child. It seems really fishy that the mom would lie about a babysitter that does exist and the whole pool story.

Yes and then the defense attorney is trying to claim that she had been molested as a child. What has that got to do with murdering your own daughter? I think they are just trying to put some doubt in the minds of the jurors so they won't convict her and feel sorry for her instead. This world is full of sick people!
