Miami is currently on a basketball mourning after the Game 6 heartbreaking loss to the Dallas Mavericks which surprised the whole world of basketball especially to the fans and those expected so much for the heat to capture the 2011 Championship crown. Dallas Mavericks were absolutely magnificent all throughout the finals series. totally did a mind-blowing performance. No doubt about it. Coach Eric Spoelstra seemed to be too lenient to his players? was he? what d'ya think? What do you think and what can you suggest about the changes to be made for the heat next season? will a Lebron james departure or having him replaced be a good and lucrative idea for the team? or keeping him in the team's still a good idea? What other changes do you think should be done to the team.. players, first five and bench players? coaching staff? motivation? mental lapses? etc. Pls share what's on your mind. Have a good Day fellas!

Man was I happy to watch the NBA playoffs this year. I've been a fan of the NBA for years now and for some reason I haven't really watched to much basketball in the past couple years but I've always been a fan of the Dallas Mavericks and primarily Dirk Nowitzki, so it was definitely awesome to tune back in on a year when one of my favorite teams won the championship. At the start of the NBA Finals this year I had faith in Dallas winning the championship but still I had to admit that the Miami Heat's team was incredibly talented and that they had a good chance of winning the championship as well. My main reason for believing in Dallas winning was a couple factors including no one could stop Dirk, Dallas's bench is way deeper and more useful then the Miami Heat, Miami isn't a clutch team, and no one on the Miami Heat could out rebound Tyson Chandler. Overall the Dallas team was incredible this year and was probably one of the most well rounded teams the NBA has ever seen of all time. However Miami also made lots of mistakes and have plenty of things they can work on. In my opinion if I owned the Miami Heat I would probably keep a lot of the same players they have now. I think they should maybe trade Chris Bosh and try to bring a better center to Miami because Joel Anthony has hustle but overall he's not a great rebounder and he's not really even a threat on offense. If I was coaching the Miami Heat I would start Mario Chalmers at PG, Dwayne Wade at SG, LeBron James at SF, Chris Bosh at PF, and then I think they need to try and find a reliable and quality center. Mike Miller wasn't the healthiest this playoffs and he's a person on the Miami roster that the team can actually get some quality minutes from. Other then that Miami's roster is incredibly short and pretty much Miami relies too much on Dwayne Wade and LeBron James and because Dallas was able to shut down one of them each night Miami lost. I think that maybe Miami would benefit as well from firing Erik Spoelstra because I'm sure that most coaches could win a championship with the Miami Heat's team right now. They should also get rid of players like Ilgauskas and Dampier if they aren't even going to suit up players that are active and on their roster.

I guess they still need to surround the Big Three with quality bench players. I do feel they have a big disadvantage at the big man position especially off the bench. Joel Anthony and Juwan Howard are non threats in offense. Also, more plays for Bosh at the post. I am liking the idea too of Lebron putting some work on his post up moves. If Lebron learns to play at the post effectively, It can be a nice go to play for the Miami Heat. Much like the go to plya of the Dallas Mavericks with Dirk Nowitzki.

I admit that I wanted Dallas to win the crown, but I admire Miami's guts! 3 or 4 months earlier I wasn't expecting such a performance but they pushed forward and forward, and they managed to get to where more successful teams in the regular season (like San Antonio) couldn't get, The Finals. So I think that now Miami has the chance to strengthen it team. I don't know if James leaving will affect or not in a positive way but I honestly hope they find a even better player for substitute him.
