I am not interested to "unspecified"

Shiby, i'm from timbatoo. Where ever the hell that is.

People have there own reasons for doing or not doing what they do or don't. Some may have very strong reason for not mentioning their country while for some it may be just because of laziness...you know one more field to be filled. They just skip it knowing it is not compulsory to provide that information. I don't have any particular point of view about them and to me it is okay as far as they are here to share with the community, they sure are from this world, aren't they?

I am not sure why there are a few who don't wish to put there country but I just figure it is personal reasons and they don't want to tell people where they are located.It is interesting though to know why.I hope that you have a great day.

I am also not too keen to interact with people who are hiding their country of origin. There is no harm in showing where they come from as we should be proud of our own country.

hello shiby, Maybe they're not residing permanently anywhere. Here in my country we called them "NPA" (No Permanent Address) I could go hiding anyway,or use other country even if i am not living in there... good day my dear brother

It is a choice that myLot has given and they are making use of it. Anyway I never go by who has put up a topic but by how interesting a topic is. If one is interested in establishing friendship with these 'unspecified' users one can send them a friends request and may be through messages get to know all about them.

hi shibham I too am wondering why unspecified, if you have nothing to hide, are not wanted by the law why not say I come from India or Afric or Japan or the New Hybrides or what ever. It makes me leery as to what the reason is. I love to have and make friends from all over the world. Most on my friends list are very proud to tell me where they are from and share their c ulture and customs with me. I am an American and proud to be one and always say where I am from.If we have nothing to hide why hide behind unspecified country. Perhaps they have some fears but I feel we are very safe on mylot

Me again, I would go along with "theSid" about having no issues as to where anyone is from as long as there are more discussions. They could well feel that if they put their Country or Town where they are from that People other People could trace as it has been mentioned. In my Facebook I have changed the location to Barcelona for my sake as well. I will explain that to you one Day.xxx

Hiya shibys, Me I am from Wolverhampton Staffs., England U.K. but because I live here in Spain all the time that is why I put Spain but really I am English well the last time I looked in the Mirror I thought I was. (grin). I would love to be able to put U.K. instead but seeing as I live here permanently well at the moment I cannot put U.K. Really I don´t mind if they don´t put their Country more or less sometimes I can read between the lines and see where they might be from anyway. Not all the time though. I guess it´s like Richnai says other People have different ways of thinking. Also I might be a little blue Angel from Alfa Centauro I might be Jaiho´s Sister from wherever that place was I can´t get back to the page to see it right now. Okay just kidding shibs have to go now I must be away to my land of England for a year and a Day again just kidding.

Hi mamu I have no issues whether they are from anywhere... as long as I have better discussions and participations between them and me. The only ones I have issues is with people who are rude here or trolls. Otherwise, we are all humans and good people around... country, religion, gender, other "unspecified" things dont bother me... I dont think beyond anything except how well our thoughts meet or match

Nice discussion friend I like it. Really I also not understand why people not shows their country. What the reason behind this. I want to tell my all sweet mylotter fiends they should show their country in your profile. Each person should proud on their country so why they hide it.

Namaste amigo! Oh yes,I've noticed that too when I had to know from what country a mylotter is,just curious,hehe! Honestly amigo,at first mine was unspecified too since I'm not that techy and I don't know why my country is not written there. But then since I wanted to put some infos about me,I was able to put it,lol! For whatever reason a mylotter has for that,I respect it. And if he/she is already a friend and close to me,I guess I'll just have to ask. See yah amigo,sorry for my delayed reply,hehe!

hi shiby, That is one of the good thing about mylot you can be anonymous Some members wanted to keep some information for themselves so be it About me in every site my friends can easily track me down as I put my complete information there because I am for real. happy mylotting

do not know why? But I think it is probably one of the security of the site to protect against loss account when the virus or hacker

Hi shibham! I hadn't noticed there was a population here that had unspecified countries. I am wondering if they are afraid there would be some sort of mistreatment because of their origin. I think it is great to know what country our friends are from. It can help us to learn about each other and sometimes even understand their responses.

Hi shibham When I first signed up and saw unspecified, I just took it as members who wanted to hide their identity and or for added security. I can really understand it, but since I have nothing to take from me, I did not hide mine. lol Anyways I have also learned that some are put in that category that myLot does not have a category for. I guess what they mean is that if there is none listed it automatically goes there. I guess the only way to see if that in fact is true is, if one was to go through the profiles of several of them to see if they are truly unspecified and or myLot has not category for them. Because if there is no category maybe if that is the case they can ask for one so they are not so invisible that way. Of course only if they really wanted. It really does not bother me as I interact with just anybody really.

I respect your preference. I am also not interested with those. I would only think that some are scammers and spammers, right? unless one is proven to provide real details, he would not be able to earn any trust or reputation.

well! for me as you checked my profile, you can see unspecified was written there, because when start to fill-up mylot, i did'nt checked there was country to be put, so i did'nt know how to edit my profile, well we are not immigrants or refugees, any way it's there choice if they don't want to be specified there place....
