Me and my partner had a fab day out yesterday

Me and my otherhalf really struggle to get a baby sitter, so i booked the mother in law in advance to have our 16month old son so we could spend the afternoon together, have a meal and do some shopping. First day we have had together since last summer!!!! So quite a long time. It was so lovely we dropped our son off at 11am, took a nice stroll into town then headed for early lunch at a plce called Silkworm, its a pub/restaurant and the food in there is really nice. We went there on our first date together almost 4years a go now, and we managed to sit in the same place aswel, it was really nice. We had a fab meal and sat and a had a few drinks and chatted away for ages. We then went for a walk round town and treated ourselves to a few new things. In all it was a really nice day and we both missed our son dearly, I gave him the biggest cuddle when we picked him up and he wouldn't let go of me it was so lovely. So me and other half have decided we must dedicate atleast 1day in amonth to ourselves, it really was lovely. On my partners next day off were going to treat our son to a day out. But to make up for leaving him yesterday Im going to take him for some lunch, feed the ducks and go to the park plus swimming tomorrow. So this was our day out
