Have you traveled for a vacation alone?

Hi santos mari chris: I have done it twice when I had the opportunity to be in the concert of Keane-2009 and Coldplay-2010. These are two of my favorite bands on earth so traveling alove for living this experience was rwally nice. In enjoyed these experiences and I have known really nice people and some of them still being my friends. But in general I travel with my family. ALVARO

No,I haven't in my life went for a vacation by myself. I am really not that adventurous on my own. I like to share the trip with someone. I don't like coming to a new place all by myself. I get so nervous and scared.

I love to travel to different countries in the world and these days I travel with my two young children. When I was a younger person I did travel alone and really enjoyed this. In those days I stayed in youth hostels and met friendly backpackers. I had a backpack with me and then it was easy to carry all my things. I was able to use the youth hostel kitchen for making my dinner. I also did camping in my tent when this was possible. Then it gave me lower costs for my traveling. I have flown on planes alone and did my inter rail on my own too. When traveling alone a traveler can do whatever he or she wishes to. These days I have my children to consider and I miss doing stuff like snorkeling. The only thing when traveling alone I avoided was arriving late at night that is after dark. In the USA some late running trains made this happen to me. I went to the airport early if I had a flight leaving in the early hours of the morning. On a train I booked one bunk in a 6 bunk cabin. This was a lovely way to travel but going in the day in a seat I saw more scenery.
