which do you prefer ORKUT/FACEBOOK

It may be a surprise to you. I ahve heard many people talking about and using Orkut and Facebook. But, I am not using either of them. And, I have no idea at all how they work, what are they for. I guess I am far behind as far as modern technologies are concerned. I know I should get better informed , right ?

I've also never heard of orkut until today, with you bringing it up, but I took a little look over it, and it doesn't seem to have many differences to facebook, except for one big one, which is that facebook has just about everyone I know on it, where I don't think anyone I know has even heard of orkut before. Thats the big selling point of facebook, everyone is on there, friends, family, people you haven't seen in decades, its really great for social networking... I think I'll just stick to facebook.

Honestly, I've never really used Orkut and I've actually just heard it from you so I can't really compare which is better. So far to me FB is good already, it actually depends on the user on how well she or he could make the best out of FB.

I personally prefer facebook. I am a member there but rarely visit it. As to orkut, I have no practical experience of the site.

I like FB a lot more than Orkut. I think Orkut looks very stuffy and suffocating. FB is more spacious and all. Like someone said before, FB is probably huge only because of its UI. Well, good for them :)

For me personally i prefer Facebook rather than Orkut because Facebook is the latest and the best operating site in the world and yes Facebook is a lot easy to use and there are loads of applications on Facebook which i guess Orkut lacks.
