My mom and I killed a snake, the color of the snake is kinda black and gray with a white spot on top of its head.
The snake form its defensive posture on the first the I saw it, its ready to attack us so me and my mom make a distance to the snake. My mom get a solid fat wood and throw it to the snake and she hit it hardly, but the snake is still alive that is trying to scape and still fighting. So I get our iron dust pan to strike its head until it was cut. To see a snake in defensive posture is really scary in personal. I only just watch it in animal planet, this morning I experienced killing it in personal outside our house...
Do you have any experience with a snake???

Ah yes, I love snakes. LOL. Well, unlike every one else, I like trying extremes and exotics. And snake is just one challenge I just conquered recently during our company outing, I got the chance to hold and put on my neck and hold in my arms the python. I love it.
Take a look at it. here it is.

I just love snakes. and maybe it's just that I have the natural nerves that I could hold them just like a pet dog or cat.
Been wanting to do it though, and I finally did last weekend. great experience. Some of my colleagues tried it too, though scared, they made it. Just like this.

Used to see plenty of snakes in India, as a kid, and they are pretty common even now in the villages and in the crop fields. Normally, they do not do any harm, they never attack anyone unless they are provoked. Just leave them alone, and they will slide away. The defensive posture of a snake is because it is more afraid of you than you are of it.
Even if you are faced with a cobra with its hood raised, which is a very menacing sight, just take two steps back and the cobra will drop its hood and slide away. Avoid cornering a snake, because then it has no option except to attack in order to escape.

Really, that is amazing, you are not scared in snake. All people here in these place are all afraid of snake, actually including me. If they see even one snake in the area, obviously they will kill it. In your place, it is just a common species like a dog. All people there are really brave including you. Thank you for your tips about snake, didn't know that before, I'm glad you tell me... God bless you! =D

that was frightening. How long and how big is this snake? I do not have experience snake but I saw snaked already at the zoo. i am also wondering if I am in the same position as yours, I wonder what will i respond to snake. I will definitely scream and throw something but I am not sure if I will hit it. poor me. I do not like snake and I am frightened by it. You found me screaming over a little worm, centipede, or scorpion, even caterpillars, what about snake. maybe I will die immediately because I am terrified.

Hi again, =D
How long and how big is this snake? Well if you seen my example picture at the bottom of my discussion, that's how long and big is the snake...
Actually on that time I am ready to strike its head, but the snake saw my intention so he move his head backward to strike a bite in me and I made my distance to the snake cause I made it so angry, shaking its tail so fast... So my mother decided to take the wood to me and throw it hard to the snake, but the snake is still alive so I grab our metal dustpan to kill it once again...
If you will see to other respondent, especially those from india, they are not afraid of snake and they treated it just like any other common animals like dogs and cats.
Amazing people, they are very brave... =D
From what you share... you are afraid of insects and reptiles... anyway, I'm afraid of centipedes too, when I see one of it... I rapidly strike it with our broom, the handle of the broom...
Oh and I remember, I had a discussion about worm, just you mentioned... you can make a response their if you like...
Thank you for your time in making a response to my discussion! God bless you grecy!!! =D

I'm just glad I don't live in a snake infested place. We have snakes here in Iowa but their garter snakes. You find them mainly around railroad tracks i guess since my nephew's used to play around with them when they were little and they lived near some railroad tracks. A friend used to find them in her yard but thank god I have never came across any. Garter snakes are non poisonous but I have a fear of snakes whether their poisonous or not.

I think they all look scary but Garter snakes are harmless. I think out in the country they have corn snakes which are harmless too. My nephew's used to chase me and my step-sister around with garter snakes knowing we were petrofied of them.

Yes, I've encountered snakes before. I live out in the country, so I'm bound to see them from time to time! LOL
As it is I almost ran over one with my mower last month. Even though it looked to be young, it was a pretty good size. I'm just glad I didn't hit it, otherwise it would have been a nasty mess!
I also caught one (non-poisonous) a few years back. I only did it because I wanted to show it to both of my boys. LOL That, and it was just a baby. Had it been as big (or bigger) as the one with the mower, I would have never braved it as I'm terribly afraid of snakes...well, other than the teeny tiny ones, that is! LOL
Happy mylotting!

I never encounter a snake in my whole entire existence. But I do encounter a frog that excrete a poisonous on its body. I whipped it with a like Tennis Rocket slam it until the last breathe. The one witness the scene said that the frog sticks to your skin and sip the blood on your body.
