I don't drink much water . I have a doubt , how much liters of water should an average men or women take per day . Is taking water is concert with your growth .
How much liters of water are you taking per day?
Tell me the correct liters of water an average men should take per day?
Doctor advised me to take 7 to 8 liters of water per day for my daily body metabolism, but i rarely take this much liter per day.
I just take 2 to 3 liters per day.

Most doctors have told me and I have read about on numerous websites that the recommonded amount of water on a daily basis should be (8) cups of water at minimum. I am just like you, no matter how much I try I never get that far. I even put a bottle of water in front of me while I am working and I most of the times I forget it's even there.
Honestly I don't know exactly how much is the recommended amount of men, but I am pretty sure it has to be more than women.

Its really true no matter how much you try you can never drink that amount of water everyday. I used to do the same, put a bottle of water in front of me while I used to work on computer or study but now I have made it a habit of drinking.

After responding to your discussion yesterday, I remembered this morning to put a bottle of water in front of me, and again I've had there for almost 2 hours and I have only drank maybe 6 sips and that's it.
Funny how don't pay attention to those little details that are so important to us.

No, 2 to 3 liters of water a day is not sufficient for your daily body metabolism. You should at least need to take 5 liters of water a day to keep your body active. I don't know your age, so actually i cant tell you the exact amount of water you should drink a day. Previously i drink 4 liters of water a day and i fall in gastric problem, then doctor advice me to drink 6 to 7 liters a day. So on average you should drink water 5 liters a day.

its better to drink lot of water.....drinking a lot water is never harmful.....and your doctor is right what he has suggested you is right we need to drink minimum 7liters water everyday..to keep your body cool and.....drinking pure water is also a one type of remedy......so drink water....and save water,save earth....becouse water is life....

It is really advised that an average person should drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Of course, more than 8 glasses is better. It really depends on certain factors. Like if it's a dry season, we need plenty of it because we can get dehydrated. Water is very essential in our body. It plays a major role in the different systems in our body. Without water, the different systems will not function well. This may result to a weak body and may even lead to certain illnesses.

A Man have to drink more water to be healthy. but 2much of water is also not good.... In the early mornings we need to have minimum of 2 glasses water to clear our stomach. and water along with lunch or dinner is also not good as it keeps digestion late.So try to have water in correct time and be healthy.

listen boomima water intake depends on our lifestyle and physical activity.But doctor recommends 8 litres per day for the person who have normal physical activity.Its good for our health ,skin,kidney etc. to drink as much as water. I always takes more than 10 litre per day without feeling thrust......its difficult for u but if its came in your habit , u will feel good

Hi,
Researchers and doctors have found out that most of our disease are water born specially the ones teared to abdominal. But still we are careless and this carelessness have taken many lives in the form of jaundice.
How much water to drink to keep your bowel clean and out of gas formation. They say for a adult it is 4 to 5 litters or more a day and keep the disease away.
The kind of humidity we have here in our part of the country naturally demands more water intake. I am trying to drink 8 liters of waters but have not succeeded yet.

Yes as suggested by the doctor it is necessary to have 7 to 8 liters of water in our body, because water plays an important role not only in metabolism but also in circulating blood in all our parts of body, so water is really very important in our life. Well talking about me i averagely take about 2 liters of water everyday although it was not much before but before reading articles and hearing the health benefit of water i started to drink water very much iam still working on increasing my daily intake of water to be more hydrated, trust me friend the benefits of water are very healthy just set of an target to reach a limit in a particular day and see the result next week iam sure you will make a decision to intake water more.

I think we should only take 8-10 glasses of water everyday. It also depends on the weather, if it is sunny day we should drink more. Water is good for our kidney because it helps us release more toxins not needed in our body.

I guess it ll depends on your lifestyle. The others here are correct about drinking water. If you have a strenuous job or work out on a daily basis then you should be drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day. If you are trying to lose weight then again you should be drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day. Now I also think it depends on when you drink water also. when exercising then water should come after the work out and maybe an hour before the work out so you don't get dehydrated too fast. If you are trying to lose weight then the glasses of water should come before eating so that it can take up space in the stomach and you will feel full after eating a small portion. Then a drink a few more glasses about an hour afterwards. Hope this helps, I also have liquid vitamins if you are feeling more tired than usual.
