since the population her on mylot is growing, why not sell here? i was just thinking... hehe aside from the crowded facebook, and the "i csnt understand this multiply thing" (many have said that already, hehe) why not make this mylot a site where people can sell as well. but instead of being able to comment on different photos of only 1 product, there's also a discussion board for each product so that the main idea of mylot (which is a discussion site) will still remain.
what cha think guys???

I think that might be kind of hard to incorporate. Seeing as the mods would have more to do and you would have to worry about if the person you were buying from was legit and if the person purchasing was actually going to pay. I belong to a website that does something similar. The bad thing about it is that the website only offers a place for people to post things on, but doesn't really moderate the buying and selling process. I find buying from sites like that and the one you're suggesting kind of dangerous. A person trying to sell something is trying to sell it, in most cases they don't care about the person being satisfied, they just want money. So the product could be really crappy and they could have a no return policy and you're stuck with this crappy merchandise.

For selling sites that I prefer are ebay that's the best one for mylot to turn into a website like that I don['t think that it would work out to well you know. Since we are used to mylot being the site it is for posting and responding to discussions and so on and that's pretty much how people like it. SO yeah I don't really think that mylot would add anything like that on here and I guess that I am happy with that because mylot would not really be the same, but than again if some people prefer it than that's ok too. I am not really opposed to anything to tell you the truth. Since I am neutral in both cases.
So yeah whatever mylot decides to do I can't help, but come to this site because it has become one of my favorites. I just can't quit or leave this wonderful place that helps me make some extra money to spend on myself. Or I sometimes save my money that I make on mylot. We all could do what we please with our money. Anyway ebay would be the top choice for selling well in my opinion anyway. SO have a wonderful day everybody.

tammy why change mylot if we had that there would cease being any discussions as all would just want to by and sell. better to have a buy and sell site all by its self for the over the top money hungry mylotters who really do not want to discuss but just sell and buy
stuff. it would not work with the discussions most of us really want to do.Mylot is unique in that it does not have chat rooms,it does not have auctions, it does not have the stuff of Facebook. It is its own self unique and most of us love it like it is.More newcomers want to change it and they either succumb to its charms or they just leave. I say leave
mylot alone. Facebook probably will have that feature next so just wait.
Also there are already discussion boards and sites that feature what you are talking about on the net. go see them.

Some people like me do not interested in both ways. If selling than its a selling site, and since mylot is a discussion site I really hope that it will be remain as well. I prefer to earn more but also the site must be simple as that of the purpose.
No offense.

It does say in the guidelines that we cannot sell our own product in discussions. Many do get around that and I think it should be left as such. I really don't care to see Mylot become a selling center. I have been hear several years and enjoy it for what it is now. I would hate to see it change.
