In my case getting depressed and bored are almost the same, so I usually play video games and watch movies. It helps a lot.
Or you can go out with your friends somewhere.
And you can play some outdoor games like soccer, they really make you absorbed in them and you can't think of depression.
Or if nothing helps just go to sleep!!!

Reading through the responses of our fellow-myLotters, I see wonderful suggestions and advice for dealing with depression. One suggestion if I may add is to practice "meditation". Meditation is very helpful for mental as well as physical health. It helps to relieve mental stresses and depression.

When being depressed you could go on a vacation, have a week away or day out somewhere lovely. One of my favorite things to do is visit my local library to borrow some interesting books. Then I find it enjoyable and relaxing the read these books. I suggest a warm bath or a hot shower to take away feelings of stress. I know that a walk by the coast or in the countryside is a way to get fresh air and enjoyable exercise. Then it could well take away lots of the stress. I used to have a stressful and boring meeting every Monday. I cycled home and doing that took away the stress. It is best to remember some problems are small and can be solved. It is wise to get help for big problems then the situation can get much better. I am sorry to hear you feel really sad and I hope you will soon feel much happier. Good luck.

For me the best thing to do when you are depress, is to go outside, smell fresh air, and fell the nature. It is so relaxing when you are in the nature, I've been depress before, and what i what to do is to go somewhere, where i can feel fresh air, andafter it, try to think something that make you happy, memories that always reminds you to smile a bit.

Stress is powerful, Since I started my work... My life is full of stress because I have to wake up early in the morning to go to work..I just have to get used to it and listening to music... and I eat a lot.. it can lessen your stress.. haha

I really like to do window shopping when I'm depress just don't bring more cash with you.I love to look at new things that diverts my attention from the source of my depression.It also helps to be in a beautiful quiet place perhaps near the beach which you can breath ample of fresh air.I also cook my favorite meals, to console myself and have my appetite back but it really cause me to overeat.

Since you are depressed now, it will be hard for you to think well of the solutions to your problems so I guess you should try to just sweat it out. Doing work outs is really helpful in relieving stress. It makes you feel better. You could also try to watch a funny movie. Even how big your problem is, these movies just does the trick.

When I am feeling down, I like to listen to happy, bouncy dance music. that always helps. I also like to go for a walk in the park or beach. Also good is watching one of your favorite comedies. If you are the creative type, paint or draw. do something creative helps to get the mind off negativity & puts your focus somewhere else. :)- hope you feel better!
