do you hear that news. ? Actually that was a shanzai phone that is china made. Man from gujrat was making a call while phone was pluged on charging. And that man got a electric shock. He imediatly sent to hospital where doctor declare him dead.
Actually chinese phones are very cheap but low in quality. They are not safe for use. I do not know why china compromise with the human safety.

Oh i did not hear the news but actually its a very serious issue & can effect us also as many of us use mobiles while charging it it happens to me most of the times. That means we should avoid using it while charging it.
I think Chinese products are really not good at all.I surprise how they can put safety below when in todays world safety is the first priority.Secondly how this phone got passed from their inspection stage??What are their testing parameters??? Are they aligned with the problem we had??? These all factors are to be checked as these kind of things bring bad name to the country. If the quality of Chinese product don't get improved people would not buy it doesn't matter if they offer it on very low price. As today people don't hesitate to spend money if they get good quality product after spending some extra money.

may be in developed country , people do not hesitate to spend more money, but in developing countries people want things for low prices. They do not think anything else besides price. But government can take some effective steps.

I agree people hesitate to spend extra money in develping coutries but the people here are fussy & do not compromise qualty though before buying anything they ask to friends/relatives many times.
But this is true government should make a check for these imported products specially from CHINA these should udrego some special tests like our domestic product does like ISI testing.

omg! the products from china are never very good. mass production to china's level never is good. in this case, they should get a heavy sue, and some should go there and test their products. If they are all like that the sue should be even worse... they want to make money without even garantee their costumers safety. Some iphones had problems too, like them exploding and some more, but never were this stupid...

Hmm I suppose I could see how it could happen but that is probably not a very common occurance. It is very sad what happened to this man. It will make me less likely to make a call while the phone is charging. I usually text while the phone is charging I wonder if the same thing could happen with that.

I was pumping gas at the gas station yesterday and got to thinking about how it says not to use a cell phone while pumping gas. I looked at the sign and it said to leave cell phones in the vehicle while pumping gas. I never realized that I thought we just werent supposed to have it out making phone calls. My cell phone was in my pocket at the time so I was praying that nothing would happen.

Hi aimeeda,
We should look into both side of the coins. Why do we blame Chinese mobiles? I have seen myself a person collapsing down as he was making call and the phone was not on charging more. And the brand was 'Nokia'.
Would it mean that all Chinese cell phones are cheap and dangerous and all 'Nokis' cell phones are safe?
The reality bites. Most of the Chinese branded cheap mobile hand sets are manufactured at Ullhash Nagar near Mumbai.
If you are looking for second hand electronic goods, and other thins within limited budget push off to Ullhash Nagar in Maharashtra or Barpeata Road in Assam.

with regards to the news evidences....
i never heard someone is killed by just using cellphone....
the only evidence that i heard is someone texting while crossing the street,
and doesn't notice that there is an oncoming car and collision happens....

I've watch something on youtube. This guy was in an oil station, when he receive a call. So while he was filling his lorry, he took the call, and suddenly his whole body was alight with fire. I don't remember if there's an explosion, but it wasd pretty scary. I knew that you can't use your cell at those places, but i never saw it happen before. i took special care not to use my cell when i went to any petrol station ever since.
