I've been here for a week and I'm around 20% of the payout. Not much yet really, sometimes I get lazy to join in discussions or post out long responses. Another factor is that I am tired already of thinking at work and really don't want to think much more during leisure time. That's why I just intend to play around in here and not much do high quality post the most. But I really enjoy the company of posters here in myLot.

Hi there LAG!
Another 11 and you will reach your star. After that things will pick up because then you will want to work on to get the smilies - won't you?

Yeah! Just a little bit and I'll get my star. After which, I have to check on my profile and be hopeful I won't get lazy enough to look for a good avatar picture. That "L" seems to get into my nerves! Haha! I'll try to pick up the pace so that I can start beaming at you with the proper counter emoticons I can get. Hehe! I'm looking forward to make my plain text responses lively enough to get better attention. Haha!

Hi there,
As for how long it took me it was my very first active month and made well over the minimum of the payout. I do make pay out each month and do so as I enjoy furthering discussions.
I can't say exactly how much time I spend here as I am very active, but my time can vary. Whereas some days I can spend a whole day here and other times I can spend a few hours in the morning and or come back later the afternoon. The idea is to be involved in discussion and not just simply answering and or having the mentality that myLot is a posting site, as it is about discussing. Therefore, furthering is not only very enjoyable but much more productive.
Best advice anyone can offer in achieving great results here in myLot is to concentrate more on quality and not quantity. When two people spends 4 hours here the two members activity cannot be compared. As both are not doing the same things. There is absolutely no way two members activity can be compared. Outside of saying that quality is a must.

I was lucky to chanced upon many tasks at that time here in mylot, most tasks then were article writing, which pay 3 to 5 dollars per entry, so I had my first 10 bucks barely a week after joining mylot, I had 69 dollars for my first month pay out here then...too bad there isn't too many article writing tasks here as of now.

@maddyo: there was a time when a certain task creator, sharonbucks, pays 5 dollars per 400 to 500 words articles, however, lately it was reduced to at least 2 to 3 dollars, I was speaking of my earnings from tasks I completed around the second semester of 2010....old members can also vouched for that. If one have enough time then, it is possible to earn that much...

Wow! Lucky you! That was fast earnings. I am also browsing in the tasks page to get a few, but really I wan't interested in those available. I am not that good at article writing either. Maybe, my best hope is the rewards system in myLot search engine.

Hi there maddyo! Lucky us for myLot's rewards!
As of the moment the highest I have got is 17 cents. But I heard from others it can go up as high as 20+ cents. I still have to get that kind of reward. Maybe after sometime we can compare our biggest earnings in myLot rewards and make a conclusion about it. ^_^

Personally, I have been a member here now for a long time. Back when I first signed up almost 5 yrs. ago, you could earn $2 a day easily here just from posting. Now it would take a miracle to make a $1 most times even if you spend all your waking moments here. But the first month I was here I earned $15 in like 15 days or so, but now in order to reach the $10 you have to be quite active here. The more activity you put in here in a day the more you will make. But on average it still takes me now around a month or more to reach it.

It took me a while only because I didnt post as much as I could have and I think I tried to start to many discussions and then I didnt post as complete responses as I do now. I try to make it to four lines at the very least in my responses. That is something I heard once, but I am not certain it makes the difference. It just seems too.

Well, as of now, I have $8.06 to be exact. And I just looked in my records and I have been a member since 2007!!! Wow, 4 years. When I first joined, I was quite active. And enjoyed meeting people. But then I faded off, and also noticed that it would take me much too much work to come on here just to earn a cent or two a posting.
But we'll see when I reach the $10. It's a "wow!" that some of the responders make it every month. Impressive.
Good luck

Hi autonno~
I can't say the exact days but I would say I reach that amount every month. I am not active in my early days here. I only get exciting and enjoying the discussions a few months ago. I don't go for quantity as I never tried out to test my capability in posting as much as I can. I am more to the quality post.Either way is find. If you can go after both ways, quantity and quality that would be great~ There are many members here who can do both ways. They are extremely active here. More high quality posts from them~

It took me a lot of time to reach the minimum, nearly 4 or 5 months for my very first $10. But I'm not that active after all, and don't do a lot of posting so you may as well do that much faster. I've just reached my second payout a few days ago, and it was another 4 months from the first. I would like to reach it faster, but my times greatly limit my participation here.

As of now, I am hoping I could get my first payout by the end of this month or hopefully by next month. But I'm trying my best to participate more actively here at mylot so I could reach the minimum payout of $10. You guys here at mylot are very inspiring, as I browse and read through some of the comments in this discussion.

I don't remember exactly, probably about three months. That's because with my full-time job taking most of the time each work day, the time and effort I could devote to myLot gets pretty limited. But, I had always enjoyed staying active in the community, communicating with fellow-myLotters.

I did it in my first month and i was on the computer about 5 hours a day except at weekends. But that was more than three years ago. Some months I made over $30! But life was simpler then and earnings greater. Nowadays I spend about 2 hours week here and earn pennies. But that is my choice.

I actually earned my first payout in a month. I was posting a lot that month, about 500. But then I was inactive for a year. I then made my second payout in another two months, but then was inactive for about two years. I got started again the end of January and have reached payout three times this year. Don't lose hope, but start making longer posts and responses and you will find that you will start earning faster! Have a great weekend!!!

actually, until this time I have not had any cash out though my friend who has referred me to join this program has already done so! I guess you just need to be that active on line.
Enjoy mylot!

As all I know,if you post more, you can earn more.I don't have enough free time,so I haven just earned a little, and so far I have earned 14.88 dollars, but it cost my nearly 6 months.
My first 10 bucks took about 4 month.I believe you have gained more than me by now.
